Sorry if this is noobish, I just never noticed it before. I was in Batallia Downs [S] waiting for campaign and decided to kill a Lycopodium (Mandy) just so check drop rates for farming possibilities. Well after that another walks up to me and looks like he is staring at me. I move a little and he turns to keep facing me. I take a couple of steps and he follows me. He only stops after I move about 10' away. Of course I went back and killed him.

Well my question is, has anyone noticed this? Do all Mandys do it and I just haven't noticed? Whats the deal?

Yeah, Lycopodium's just do that. Kinda like Hpemde in sea.

If you have a particular title on your person, they will actually give you a regen effect after following you for a certain period of time.

If you zone it enough times, the aerns will naturally seperate. You could try using a hermes quencher, claim it when it's halfway down the first hall, and zone through the elevator door, kill it in that square room around the elevator. Otherwise, you can try zoning it multiple times through a corner elevator, although there's some ghrah to worry about.

Has anyone tested how the different defense down moves all stack together? Angon, Dia 2/3, Frightful Roar, Box Step in particular I'm wondering about. Since Dia is a different "effect" from straight def down is it just Dia + whatever the strongest "def down" move is (assuming that this would be Angon)?

Is it possible use an BCNM orb, let your PT in then exit so another person can enter?

I.E. BLM1 BLM2 BLM2 WAR

WAR starst the BC
BLM1 and BLM2 enters
WAR exit BC
BLM3 goes in

Is that possible??

I'm not sure, but I'd assume so, since you can enter any time after the orb is traded, and the only restriction I know of is 3 max, not first 3 only.

As long as the pet's level is equal to or below the level of the highest member of your party, then no it wont affect EXP. This has never changed.

The only thing that changed was that BST's dont lose 30% EXP for having a pet charmed.

So I'm thinking about leveling my npc for the lulz. When I did the quest I picked galka for the HUEG factor, but if I set him to healer eventually will he be gimp?

tl,dr: Does race matter for npc stats?

I have a taru NPC, and I was keeping track of her approx HP for a few levels. Unless NPCs are supposed to have low HP, I think her taru race is affecting her HP levels. Here's what I found:

Lv 30 - 470ish (Capped in Prommy)
Lv 35 - 550ish
Lv 37 - 560ish
Lv 38 - 600ish
Lv 39 - 630ish
Lv 40 - 645ish

Can easily check your galkas HP by having him take some kind of AoE Damage (I was lvling on Goblins in Altepa by outpost.) Check the % of your NPC's HP using Windower and calculate backwards.

Is it considered unethical or shady if you have two accounts and you join different Dynamis LSs for each of them?

From my PoV I'd rather you did this than not. Cos then you wouldn't be tempted to Dbox poorly in my dynamis runs >.>

As long as you make the runs, I wouldn't care. Would save me having to deal with drama over one person lotting two sets of gear, even if they were being useful and bringing two different characters.

So if you can hack doing dynamis up to 4 times a week, then go you.

A broken Dissector should be doing equal to/greater damage to a Joyeuse correct?

I am thinking my Dissector should be broken, but while coffer key farming in hell last night (Beadeux) my Dissector was doing about 10 less damage than my Joyeuse.

Against non-piercing weak mobs, unlocked dissector should be slightly higher per hit, yes.

im looking to get a drk subligar for zerg. Wondering what would be easier... Hecteyes pet vs Drk fomor in sacrarium or Slime pet vs Drk fomor in aqueducts. my BST is 67 so im good on charming EM. Thoughts? Should i go with a 2hrd IT pet instead?

I'm still pretty shitty with BST, but you can only Familiar one Hecteyes, and there's a fair chance it'll take more than 30 minutes for subby to drop, aside from the fact that DRK Fomors kind of rape. I'd personally be more comfortable w/ a steadier pet supply in Aqueducts, but I also inherited the character with BST leveled and am by no means an expert on the job.

Were you using food? I'm guessing you're a Red Mage, and that your attack isn't all that stellar. Even against coffer mobs, a RDM without a fair amount of attack from gear or food is going to have some all-over-the-place numbers.
