Yeah but you need like 26.x% or something in gear haste to actually hit the cap because of the /512 business or what not. I'm not exactly sure maybe someone can clear that up?

Equipment haste, converted from the /512 # ends up being 25.2%. So you need 26 to cap it but only get .2% out of that 26th %.

Just found out about this item, Cocytus Pole... "Additional effect: Ice Spikes" makes no sense. Does it really have "Additional effect: Ice Damage"? or "Physical damage: Ice Spikes" or does it really cast Ice Spikes on things you hit it with?

As far as I remember, when you hit with it, there is a chance that you will receive an Ice Spikes effect. It's Ice Spikes, not Ice Damage.

I reactivated my old SAM yesterday and I'm in the process of getting him back up to scratch as I let a friend have most of my good stuff (hagun, dusk hands etc). I was curious whether it was still viable to merit with soboro or is that gimp now? Failing that is Onimaru acceptable or should I just wait until I get a new Hagun?

this is kind of a third rail really; onimaru is pretty much the best non-hagun AH gkt; whether it's better or worse than soboro is hard to say (I don't know if anyone has bothered to head to head them) soboro may parse better for you if you're more comfortable with that play style, and vice-versa.

sam/rng is still really viable at several popular camps (especially colibri) and is a great use of that soboro if your archery is up to scratch.

They're two different types of defense reduction. Angon is similar to Dia, Tomahawk is similar to Banish.

yes because like the guy above said, they are completely different debuffs.

Angon lowerz DEF. Tomahawk lowers damage nerfs. Like Energetic Eruca's Slashing resistence, etc.

Just have your mules on for every non odin fight. You need to fight T1, T2, T3 to enter(except for the Odin mule). Just make sure you don't repeat chamber wins on the way to each Odin fight.

Basically, as stated above, have all your mules in for all non-Odin runs.

Once you beat Odin, go:

Rossweisse -> Helmwige -> Ortlinde -> Odin

Grimgerde -> Schwertleite -> Gerhilde -> Odin

Siegrune -> Waltraute -> Brunhilde -> Odin

...repeat, ad infinitum.

Not suppose to have 3 mules at one time with all 9 feathers. When it's time for Odin, one will have all 9 feathers, one will have 6 and the last will have 3. After you do Odin, do the 3 chambers (t1,t2,t3) that the mule with 6 feathers doesnt have. As stated above, make sure you have a set schedule so you don't repeat feathers. t1 > t2 > t3 > odin > lather, rinse, repeat

I almost managed it as a nearly naked nin/rdm. using ni nukes. I'd imagine with a decent eva/int set it would be pretty straightforward

As NIN/DNC I was soloing incredibly tough 1hander Fomors with relative ease. Not much room for error, landing debuffs helps a ton. For 2 hander fomors, I haven't really tried myself.
