Speaking of footwork, I have Hakke Habaki and Dune Boots. After the patch revision in which they were nerfed, is it worth keeping the Habaki around at all?
What do BLMS macro?
Hell what does your BLM macro bar(s) look like
Elemental Seal + -ga. Does the magic accuracy enhancement work for each target, or only the main? (I assume for each target as ES Sleepga always seems very effective on all targets, but I am more interested on elemental damage.)
Pretty certain it's all targets.
[Burst2] [Thun4] [Thun3] [Bliz4] [Freeze2] [Flood2] [Day] [Sleep2] [Drain] [Aspir]
[Heal] [Idle] [NukeINT] [SorcRing] [UggPend] [Stoneskin] [Blink] [Stun] [Gravity] [Bind]
PS2/360 Player. Would be less gear macros if I had Windower Macros. I have 5 sets of macros though, basically all the same but with different gear sets and different subs.
BLM/WHM adds in Cure3 and Paralyna over Gravity/Blink
BLM/NIN adds in Utsu over Stoneskin/Blink
Dynamis Macros with all Sleeps instead of Enfeebles and Extra nukes
Full Nuke Macros and Full EleMagic Macros to swap in depending on situations
Macro set with all other AM2 and T4s to swap in easily depending on situations
I basically just swap in spells/gear depending on what I'm doing. O2 I swap in Air spells and Elemental Gear sets, etc.
edit: Those are the macros I had at the time from Soloing. Usually don't have Blink, rarely even use it solo tbh. Pretty much just mix and match my macros for the event.
I think this question has been asked before, but is meat ever an option at lower levels? My Warrior is 46 at the moment and with Sushi I was parsing ~92% melee accuracy, when I let my food wear off towards the end because we were disbanding in ten minutes, accuracy started to sink down a bit and ended at 87% (probably would've dropped lower over time). However, I also forgot that I got Aggressor at 45 and never used it as a result, so that worked against me. Sorry for the stupid question, this is my first pure melee job and although I did some research before leveling it there's some things I'm not sure about still.
I don't macro AM2 i launch them from the menu then hit blizzard4/Thunder4 macro.
[th4][bli4][th3][bli3][stoneskin+blin][stun][aspir][drain][enfeebling gear][sorcerer+ugga]
[sleep1][s2][bind][gravity][sleepga2][nukegear1][nukegear2][hmp1][hmp2][sorcerer's latent gear swap]
I need to change it because I'd like full drk skill/magic accuracy gear on every stun/drain w/o changing macro line. BLM is annoying with the # of macro lines..
Yeah, depending on the mobs we're fighting I love the Break line. Sadly with Coeurl Sub I was parsing 55% accuracy or so and it took me forever to build up TP. =\
Get Tp up, shield break to start the next fight.
Get into that habit and it's only a pain when you whiff the shield break to start a fight, I used to hang onto aggressor for that after 45.
Sadly we're fighting beetles and bats at the moment without Dispel, so on Beetles I have to hold TP until they do that Evasion Boost bullshit and then Shield Break, but sometimes they get it off again before I have 100% TP. ~_~ I feel like an RDM with a Great Axe and a long recast timer, lol.
PS: Dedicated to my favorite taru WAR:

He used the evasion nonsense again right after. ~_~
The real question is, why were you fighting monster that have annoying debuff without dispel, or with melee that are too low. I'm certain there was a better camp somewhere D:
And sushi is perfectly fine at those level in this situation. If you can't get 90% accuracy with accuracy gears and songs, then eat sushi and drop the uneeded accuracy if you go over the cap (95%).
Cure1, cure3, stun, pull warning, elemental seal, aspir, drain, sleepga, sleepga2, grav
stone, water, wind, fire, ice, thunder, bind, sleep1/2, resting gear macro, /map
Cure spells, stun, sleep, bind are on every macro bar, because reaching those spells quickly is often the difference between life and death. Other macro bar are similar, but have different elemental spells (tier 3, tier1 and ancient, and sleep2 -> sleep1). I use 4 macro bar on blm, even if I could squeeze it on 2, because almost everything is repeated to avoid macro issue.
The only issue for me with this setup is utsusemi (on blm/nin) that is on ctrl+5 and ctrl+6 on another macro bar. I don't want to move it somewhere else, because it's been there for years, even if I end up wasting Elemental seal occasionally.
I don't macro any -aga and dot. I simply get them from the ctrl+m menu and press another similar spell to do the gear swap (if i cast thundaga, I will hit thunder 4 macro after to do the swap).
Obi, pendant, sorcerer ring, af1 mitts, and af2 hat are macroed manually when needed. Everything else is macroed with windower macro.
Anyway, the best advice I can give you is to set all your "life saving" spell on every macro bar you will use to be able to react quickly, and make good use of the ctrl+m menu. Not every spell need to be macroed
[Stoneskin] [Phalanx] [Blink] [Dispel] [Kite]
[Burn] [Choke] [Shock] [Drown] [Rasp] [Frost] [Bio]
[Thunder][Th2][Th3][Th4][Thundaga][Thga2][Thga3][Burst2][Sorc.Ring][Stun]
[Sleep][Sl2][Sleepga][Slga2][Drain][Aspir][Gravity][Bind][Magic Burst][Rest]
[Blizard][Bl2].........etc
[Sleep][Sl2][Sleepga][Slga2][Drain][Aspir][Gravity][Bind][Magic Burst][Rest]
and it keeps repeating like that with every Elemental type.
My Magic Burst has my Obi and Static Earring in it, and when I eventually get some of my BLM AF2 it will have those as well. Before I go out I know wether I'll be MB'ing or not, so if I wont I just don't put the end quotation at the back of ("Static Earring) or do the same for Obi's and such. Hate not being able to access important spells quickly so just decided to put them with all my Elements.
My kite has my cloak and all my -dmg gear on it.
how much +STP in gears would I need to make this...

a 6-hitter? assuming I have max STP merit.
