I still don't get the update notes.
Now can you wear your lvl 75 armor in BC40?
Has anyone started trying to figure out how campaing works now? i seem to get crap exp no matter what i do.
Of course it is horribly gimped, but it is only comparatively gimped to gear around that level. The gap increases the higher the level cap becomes, but then you would have access to more gear that is under the level cap.
Too many people expected to be walking around in mini-Haubs and mini-Osodes.
I didn't expect it to be a mini haub or a mini osode, but I also didn't expect it to be 1/6th effective as a piece that isn't capped. I'm particularly speaking of Bkote at40 only giving 3 attack while Okote (since they lv 34) giving 20. That's overdoing it rly or AF+1 being weaker than AF at lv 60, ect.
Sorry to keep asking so many questions on this subject(hopefully this will be the last.) Roughly how much +acc does a WS gorget equal?
I'm raising sch but I like playing bst mainly and was contemplating cop rings. Sch will get a whole lot of use from Tamas, but I kinda like DD jobs too.
My main concern is does bst get any use from Rajas ring?
So far from exploring, the only use I can see from it is to reduce dual wield maneater + juggernaut to 8 rounds for 100 TP, and in an ideal 6-hit spiral hell spam set. As a weapon skill ring I think it can be easily replaced. ( Juggernaut doesn't seem like much use with maneater, temperance, I.R. pick available and I can still get 6-hit with scythe with Aurum Cuirass and only loose a little str, dex, and acc, on a set-up I probably won't get to use much outside solo anyway.)
The other question which is kinda related is what is the TP return on Aymur? The delay is 312 and using the formula the return comes to 8.17 which is what? An 8.1 return or 8.2 (from ffxiclopedia)?
Rajas isn't essential for BST, but I like to TP/WS in it. 8 Rounds isn't as dependable on dual wield just based on the nature of dual wielding (plus TP return on rampage).
I don't have much experience with BST/SAM using a scythe mostly because I hate the damage of spiral hell and I don't want to sink merits into Scythe. Out of curiosity, how much are your spiral hells doing at 100tp?
I'd keep Rajas for the overall utility, especially if you level a two hander job. You can buy rings to do similar things on SCH, but this argument has been rehashed a million times.
Good points. I'll have to consider more of the sch gear too now. (Hopefully it will come in useful for primal rend too.)
As for spiral hell, I don't have any numbers yet. I still need to unlock it. I only considered it because a friend is fond of using scythe on bst, and another mentioned the damage wasn't that far off their rampage (didn't ask about merits or gear though, so it may fall short if you're decked out from full powered rampage. Hmm). I'm still exploring bst/sch atm, but I'll have to get to work on that now.
I want to level COR next and although I never use /P macros I have been gving it some consideration. Mainly I would like to put the lucky and unlucky numbers in to reference.
So is it:
A. Too annoying, get off of my lazy ass and remember them.
or
B. Not that big of a deal and it might help people who wanna know what they are getting.
Please use Echo. ><; If someone wants to know what they're getting they can just check the status text.
My echos look like:
Chaos Roll Lucky: 4 /Unlucky: 8
Attack Bonus
Double-Up: Total <= 6 || 8
Last line meaning double up if total is 8, or if total is less than or equal to six.
I thought so, thanks. With the font colors I never see echoes but i have an idea of a simple chart that I'll make and keep with me.
Thanks for the info on spiral hell.
Sorry. I didn't mean the rings for primal rend. I meant some of the magic attack bonus pieces that sch can wear like moldavite. I ended up thinking there wasn't a replacement for Tamas till you mentioned there were pieces to take its place which is why I mentioned looking into sch gear more.
