When PLDs use HP swap macros to Cure IV themselves for hate, do they generally increase their max HP, cure themselves, then switch back to idle, or do they lower their max HP, then bring it back to idle, and then cure themselves?
So if possible, raising, curing, then lowering is the preferred method?
It really just depends on how much hate I need/want and how much MP I have. imo neither really matters since in the end it's just for hate and I swap back to idle HP gear. As long as you don't have less HP then you started with, you're fine.
What would be a good method to test how big the Pdif/cRatio bonus on Ground Strike, and which one is applicable?
I'm not too good at reverse engineering formulas from battle numbers, so I'd like some guidance.
Kaeko's enmity testing showed that sentinel is equivalent of enmity +100, the max amount. Does that mean swapping to enmity gear before using it is pointless?
Using the Sentinel ability gives the same amount of hate as a Provoke, so I would assume swapping Enmity in for its use is good (don't think the +100 is applied to the ability itself). After you've used it though, Enmity gear is useless, so I usually swap into my ohshit gear.
To reply to Ruiner, it's not that you lower your HP and go back to idle, it's that you lower it down a bit, then swap in full HP. My Cure3 macro, for example, swaps out 50, swaps that 50 back in, and puts another 140 in, netting me ~190 HP to cure.
Was pasting restored in Windower 3.41? I'm still chrashing...
Sure it's been asked before but I don't care to sift through the thread; what are the Haste% tiers for Ichi/Ni recast?
Tiers are more of a casting time deal with Fast Cast. Haste is a straight % shaven off of recast time capping at 50%(though it works on a ###/1024 system most accurately from what we've seen). Try here for more, though not sure when the last time she updated it was:

Can a fellow RNG get a guide on how to approach Odin?
Looking to find out what sub to bring, and what food I should use, how far should I shoot from?
Kinda, except recasts are ?truncated?, and with Ichi having a 30 second cooldown base...50% haste will remove 15 seconds, so approximately 3.3 haste lowers the recast by 1 second...I don't know how the game does the calculations exactly, but it is still basically tiered every 3-4% haste (will be 3 sometimes, 4 sometimes I believe for Ichi).
I usually sub WAR on Odin, any sub is fine I guess.
Food: Use attack food, hopefully you going to have BRD+COR. Odin have TP move that wipe all buffs/food so keep that in mind if you wanna buy expensive food.
Range 17-20 is good to avoid the TP move while dealing damage. Sidewinder range is about 18 so dont ws too far.
recasts are calculated based on a single significant digit base number (XX.X seconds, no confirmed maximum) and then multiplied by haste (x/1024), slow (x/1024), or fastcast(x/1024?) as applicable, and then floored into an unsigned integer of max value 255 for the final amount.
so they are truncated, but only once the multiplication against a single significant digit is complete.
Amele, I know what exactly you meant , but I have no clue what the fuck you just said.
Significant digit means uhh, the digit is significant.
12.0 means the .0 is significant, and is different from 12 in that 12 could have been 12.3 or 12.4, 12.0 means it was rounded to the .0
Truncating is dropping some part of the decimal...if it's going into an integer, then that's dropping the entire decimal part. So it is truncated, though only the final form is apparently.
In any case, what I said still stands...every ~3-4ish haste will drop 1 full second off the recast. It is possible to add an amount of haste less than that and not affect your recast.
