I'm thinking about coming back, but I'd rather play on my PC than my PS2 this time, and the default keyboard/mouse controls are impossible to use.

Yes, but just an FYI, the Xbox 360 Controller for Windows is the same thing as the regular Xbox 360 controller but with drivers included. So if you haven't already bought the controller, just get a regular Xbox 360 one and download the drivers.

Thanks for the reply! I already own an Xbox controller for Windows, I had to purchase it for a game project that I made last year for school and the school wouldn't install the drivers for the regular Xbox controllers on any of their computers.

So, if this calculator is right, then the difference between them with that setup is in hundredths of seconds until Haste/March is applied? That doesn't seem right.. though daggers do have stupid low delay as is.

Maybe it's just my crappy old computer, but I get really bad lag with the A/B/X/Y buttons when I play with 360 controller on my computer with ffxi. Like, you can spam the B button to get out of a menu and sometimes (even in non-crowded areas) and nothing will happen for a good 3-4 seconds.

Eh, I've been using a 360 controller since I started playing FFXI and have never had an issue like that.

I don't have /drk, but I'm sure it would be pretty damned near impossible to keep a kraken mnk with 2hr up's HP anywhere under being 1shotted by anything (as well as no HP to use as dmg since all was drained from). I'd probably stick with faith baghs.

KC should probably outperform when you have enough people cure bombing you assuming feint is on.

but if either of those isn't true faith baghs will do much better.

How well do MK and Ridill DRK stack up against KC? And how about MNK/DRK with Faith B's?

I couldn't find the relevant parses in the gargantuan AV thread and the ones I saw didn't say who was using what iirc.

Mathematically, Kris is like 40% as effective as a Kraken. On AV, it's something like 2-3k damage vs. 7-9k damage on Ridill/Kris vs. Kraken. Zaghnal and Ridill/Kris are almost equal in the field, depending on obvious gear variances.

Does anyone know (for certain) if you can repeat the "Brygid the Stylist Returns" quest for the same job? For example, you finish the quest for the Parade Cuirass (PLD/WAR body), and then toss it. Can you repeat the quest to get the Parade Cuirass again?
