Someone in a thread recently mentioned a 5 AF limit in the treasure pool in Dynamis. Is that really true? I've been looking since then at the "omg dynamis patch" drop screenshots and have yet to see one with more than 5 in it, either. What happens at that point, is it just that more can't drop until stuff sorts, or does a 6th AF push earlier one out of the pool?

Quick NPC Fellow question.

~2 years ago (or however long ago it was Signal Pearls were introduced) I got a Signal Pearl and played around with it briefly. I got my NPC to around 40 and got part way through one of the first quests--Blighted Gloom. I never got an advanced job for my NPC. Lately I've picked up leveling the same NPC, but Luto has been stubborn with giving me quests.

Many, many, many months ago I killed the Metallic Slime in Ordelle's (for Blighted Gloom) but was too lazy to get the ending cutscene in KA territory in Jugner. Flash forward to this last month where I finished Blighted Gloom and have leveled my NPC from ~40 -> 50. Now I'm capped at 50 with still only basic jobs and Luto is still not giving me any new quests. Luto just tells me, "Palometa still hasn't opened her eyes. I wish I knew how to help her..." in regards to Blighted Gloom.

Am I stuck with "Let's chat" and calling NPC for 20 fights for no xp just for bond, or is there something retarded I'm missing? Not being able to flag limit break #1, advanced jobs (or any other bonding quests for that matter) is lame. Don't really understand why I haven't at least gotten the T.M. scrolls quest yet....

What am I missing?

Are there any additional requirements for a Limbus beginner to access the Central floors of Temenos/Appollyon and the Omega/Ultima Floors beside the cosmo-cleanse, and the NM card in Al Taieu (provided alliance leaders got the chips) ?

Like clearing all the starting Towers first ?

Nope. Only 1 person needs to trade the chips and you're good to go.
Thats why limbus is much more friendly than einherjar.

On BG's Wiki it has Terror Shield listed as a size 3 shield, but on the other wiki it has it listed as a size 4 shield. A few of my friends have said it acts like a size 4 but none of them have it to test it, i know its the same model as a wivre shield , which is size 3. Anyon know which size it is?

all of limbus is like a BC with chips acting as orbs. just pay the entry fee and get the card and the chips will do the rest of the work.

If you use fillmode with windower, can you see buried antlions? Haven't bothered to test it myself yet.

As well, I know people change mob .dat names in Salvage and such to know which mobs drop cells; can you do the same thing in Treasures and Tribulations by chance?

tl;dr version-- Why is my NPC stuck at 50 and I can't flag any quests? I've only done Blighted Gloom, haven't even been able to flag the T.M. Scrolls quest.

Maybe the bond/friendship stats isnt capped or something? Are you sure no quest are flagged /quest -> jeuno quest? Try completeling the weapon upgrade, or summon her a few more time.

First question: I know this works in the Hagun ENM so it probably works elsewhere too.

Yeah, I have no quest active at the moment. Blighted Gloom is under complete and Luto just tells me, "Palometa still hasn't opened her eyes. I wish I knew how to help her..." in regards to Blighted Gloom. I can't imagine I don't have enough bond at 50 to flag the next quest. The only thing I can think of is some how me taking a two year break between 30->40 and 40->50 messed up bond some how, but nothing I've found indicates that bond decays (short of tossing your Signal Pearl).

Try using the chart on BGWiki to see how far along you are. Like if, at the Rendezvous Point you can select 3 headgear but can't lock any equipment, check again in 5 more calls to see if you get the equipment lock. If you can already lock a piece, check in 5 calls if you can initiate Chameleon Capers. If that doesn't happen, I guess it's probably broken somehow?

Edit: Also, you know Luto isn't the quest starter for Genkei 1, right?

Recently did this NPC 50 cap limit break, had the same question "why won't I get a new quest?" Talked with Radille (my NPC) tons of times, talked with Luto tons of times, then re-read walkthrough and realized neither of them start the quest. The chubby hume in Selbina does. So bring your signal pearl with you and talk to him.

Possible, but elemental nukes are much faster skillups. Besieged go! Alternatively, a friend of mine capped his spamming resisted ones while I was killing jailer of fortitude, slowed it down for me lol
