Question for DRKs who do not use Askar (Nyzul being a whore/using Ebody instead) --
How do you typically reach 6-hit with Naglering?
If memory serves, it takes +23 store TP to reach the appropriate delay, 15 (/sam) + 5 (Rajas) + 1 (Brutal) still only reaches 21 STP. Do you use store TP food or just not worry about it? For some reason most of the Ebody DRKs I see don't bother with greatsword at all, or don't reach 6-hit on Nag in the first place. Is Scythe that much more superior to Gsword, or do Adaberk DRKs just not worry about getting a 6-hit on Greatsword?
I did some testing with Brave Grip on Lesser Colibri. I was on sam/dnc, with 115 dex to cap out crit rates on the colibri out there.
with Brave Grip:
hits/misses: 373/17 95.64%
Crits/noncrits: 100/273 26.81%
M. Low/Avg/High: 65/89.5/113 89.5
Crit Low/Avg/High: 122/146.1/161 146.1
No Grip:
hits/misses: 400/21 95.01%
Crits/noncrits: 100/300 25%
M. Low/Avg/High: 65/87.9/113 87.9
Crit Low/Avg/High: 120/139.2/157 139.2
Bonus from Brave grip appears to be about 5% on average. 100 data points isn't enough to say it's definitely a 5% boost, but it shouldn't be very far off from the real number
WAR relic hands for WS/Steel Cyclone. Yay/nay? What would be better? Hecatomb hands? Would the relic be fine if you don't have heca yet?
Alky > Pallas~heca~taru RSE2 > Ares > Af2
My tests for Brave suggested 3%, but they were on lvl 1 mobs, and I suspected it might have been a boost to the crit pDif + boost, as opposed to a flat +% boost to Crits.
I think X's was shown to work like that, that it isn't actually +10% on Crits, rather it makes crits go from +1.0 > +1.1.
So perhaps Brave is +1.0 > +1.05?
Does killing Tauri type mobs reduce Fomor hate? we were gathering enough hate for a few member's who wanted swift belt and slaughtered fomor's for a few hours and they only built up enough for "moderate hate." We killed the two stego's everytime they popped.
Yeah, killing Tauris only in Tavnazia Archipelago will reduce the hate of fomors along with orcs and gigas found in the region as well.
Me and a friend are currently duo-ing our DRGs with a BRD PL. We're at 16 atm, and have been exping in East Ronfaure_S off of Scarab Beetles. I was curious if anybody knew some good piercing weak camps on the way to 37?
Don't get to play BLM often and never have against a Wyrm. I know I've seen it posted a number of times here but when fighting a Wyrm what is the Ele Skill/Int Build BLM's look for. I thought it was something like 320/130 but can't remember for sure.
320 skill 120 INT
Do you need to have Hunter Bracers +1 equipped during activating Barrage or during shooting the Barrage-enhanced shot to get the extra arrow?
Best thing that's been working for me on Wyrms has been going into a max INT set and a Cream Puff which puts me around 134ish INT with 5/5 Merits in INT. I swap out MAB gloves for Wizard's Gloves +1 and I'm good to go especially with Lightning Thren. from a BRD. I fill INT in the other spaces. I used to stack more Elemental Skill back when I used Genie Weskit including not only AF1+1 gloves but Elemental Torque, and Merciful Cape. I'd go out on a limb and suggest sticking with the 120 INT 320 Elemental Skill for Sky stuff if you do Sky. Anything else you can sacrifice some Elemental skill for INT and still perform well if not better than stacking elemental skill needlessly in some of your slots. Just my take.
