Here's the link to where a previous person asked the same question: clicky
But the thing is that link in the post doesn't work anymore >_>
Just use POLUtils: Pebbles' Program Page - Home
On PC, find the directory for your character: macros are stored in .DAT files, one file per set; just copy one .DAT over the other. As I recall, book 0 is mcr.dat-mcr9.dat, book 1 is mcr10.dat-mcr19.dat, etc. But looking at the directory I also notice nmcr.dat-nmcr9.dat, and I don't remember how they fit in.
There's a section on breaking fishing rods in Kida's FFXI Fishing Database - Guide
We have no main lot CORs in dyna. We have already given away some COR to peeps who need it and I'm levelling the job. Not lotting over anyone who could use it sooner, which pieces of relic should I pick up if I get a shot (likely)? Belt/head/Body/hands?
head > belt > body > legs > hands > feet, in my personal opinion.
Can any job solo the Satiator NM for its Remnant in Promy-Dem? and for that matter, how about the Provoker in Vazhl?
Random question: How many HP does Ulli have? Can he be killed with only Bio and Ni nukes before the ninja af feet bonus wears out? I'm not the best 2-boxer so I don't wanna risk it unless I can duo it in 30 minutes.
You might be able to kill it in 30m with bio2 and Ni nukes, but there's no real reason to be afraid of it even without movement speed. You can easily keep distance from it without movement speed since it casts a lot, and 90% of the time, the first thing it attempts to do when it gets in melee range is Heavy Strike, get "too far away"'d since you're running away, and stand there stupidly for 2-3 seconds allowing you to gain more distance.
If you're doing it on NIN, just make sure you have a way to keep yourself healed from occasional banishga3s. It sounds like you have a rdm or blm dual-box though so that shouldn't be a huge problem.
Thanks for the answers about relic, it's a shame we have no serious CORs. One of our main pullers and I are both now levelling it and loving it.
More COR questions:
This is the first time I've levelled a ranged attacker, I'm levelling COR and RNG at the same time, with the aim of getting RNG to 37 and COR to 75.
In terms of rings, do I always want to go for the max ranged acc? I seem to lose a lot of accuracy when I do that but with every shot taking a month, obviously hitting is better than not. I have a jaeger ring which looks like a good option, do I want to add in a sniper/woodsman or should I just pile on RACC? In the distant future, I have a joyeuse to play around with so I can imagine me tping with that.
Be gentle, I am primarily a mage, the highest melee job I have is NIN and that was for subbing to WHM and BLM >.>. Cor is officially the next highest now lol.
Definite no on the Satiator, no way any job can tank it without support at level 30, and you can't DoT -> zone because of the way the stupid fucking double-teleport works. Provoker might be soloable using DoT -> zone (to the Spire) but it's extremely unlikely. You'd be re-aggroing it practically buff-less each time (since the path back to its spawn is littered with Empty), and it hits very hard so if you managed to aggro an add at the same time as re-claiming the NM you might end up dying whilst trying to zone. You'd have no RR either, which would be just lovely.
I wouldn't even bother attempting it, just get a few friends to help.
not sure if satiator pops pets like dem mega boss, if not it's probably duoable by RNG with striders/trotters and rdm/nin.. the mea one definitely is, mostly DOT damage and RNG shoots when RDM gets hate to get it back to kite.
Had an (admittedly) semi-drunken conversation last night, and I ended up failing hard in explaining; could someone give a short rundown on the difference between "Fast Cast" and Haste?
Fast Cast lowers casting and recast time, Haste just lowers recast time.
I'm not entirely sure if Fast Cast can lower it past the 50% Haste recast cap though.
It doesn't.
Haste makes you swing faster and lowers recast.
Fast Cast makes the spell finish sooner and lowers recast by about half the fast cast amount.
So RDM hat is 10% fastcast: it lowers casting time by 10%, and lowers recast timer by 5%, but does not affect swing speed.
W. Turban is 5% haste: it lowers recast time by 5% and increases swing speed by 5% (approx of course), but does not affect casting time.
Not really game related, but which topic would you suggest posting a petition style thread? Im somewhat new to BG, so dont want to post it in the wrong thread.
the post can be found here...

Do the elemental avatars's AF BPs do the same base amount of damage?
