I haven't done 40/20 boss in months, did today and got turtle his song did more than I remembered is turtle song from them suppose to be same as aspid's dispel I thought was like genbu and only hit rolls/songs, or is it broke? <_<

Never. The only mobs I didn't use mine on were Imps, because Tantara spam completely defeats the purpose.

Is there any kind of plugin or something similar that can block /ra commands with a specific ammo in slot unless unlimited shot is active (or just prevent regular ra but not ws)? Say that you have PPA equipped for sidewinder, but like me, you're a massive scatterbrain. Any kind of security available?
(I remember reading about a way to block cfh a while back, anything similar to that maybe?)

I tried using autoexec with this while leveling rng:

what is the command to set it to just unequip the ammo instead of switching to another?
(if an item isn't present in inventory and you tell it to switch to that item, it'll just stay on the previous item, might be why the PPA above fired anyway?)

Question about re-doing AF quests.

A while ago I upgraded Gallant Leggings to +1, erased my memory, re-did Gallant Leggings quest again for capped events and ability to store them. The thing is, "Bogartz Stalwart Hands"(PLD AF quest) is still flagged in my quest log.

Later on I've also upgraded Black Mage and Dark Knight Artifacts. So, in order to redo blm and drk quests again do I have to toss my paladin AF, find all coffers again and complete "Stalwart hands" quest? Or is there a better/easier way to to this?

I just don't feel like wasting hours on coffer keys. Thanks in advance!

I think you could decently melee Gobbie pets with the help of Enspells. I'm not sure how bearable you'd consider that though, it bores me really quickly. D:

I just gravity + nuked them, and did fine (/NIN). I also did a lot of FoV, mostly as /BLU. Near the end, when I had Protect+Phalanx+Cocoon up, and then Stoneskin, I was nigh-invulnerable.

For Sam or War, with a base atk (pre food, buffs, etc) around 410-430, would smilodon+1 be a valid swap cape for ws? Of course Forager's for tp, just wondering if the +2 str would be more effective for str modded ws than the +15 atk.

Soboro has better melee DoT than other GKs too, so it's still best on imps when WSes are less of a factor.

I somewhat recall doing this for leveling rdm (mostly out of necessity because of the party setup), I would melee with en-spells up til 37 and pull for the party once I got gravity, you really have to watch your mp but it's possible. Pulling in garlaige citadel so fun >.> But those are some more melee-ish things you can do.

Yeah, I'm a bit confused as to what my roll in most parties should be when I eventually need to party up. It seems difficult for RDM to really fill a "niche" in a party at this level. Not really a good melee, not as good as WHM at healing, etc etc.

I just want to get it over with as fast as possible so I have it for PLD. DNC is next on the list of subs to do, but I think it will be a bit more interesting 1-37.

Is there a general rule of thumb for str vs atk on ws?

I believe it's been tested that the ATT bonus on single hit WSs (Specifically SAM) is so large that Smil+1 would, in fact, win out against Foragers.
