I've started levelling RDM again. I'm a hume, it's now 65. Haven't played it regularly ever... I tend to sit on my convert for ages. Should I be using it every time it comes up?

I usually wait until I have about 50-100 MP left, take a quick look at who needs Haste/Refresh and throw those out, then Vert.

The same way you'd request anything else...Wipe your AF quests at the NPC in Jeuno, then start over from the gun.

If i dont have to use it i dont. unless my party is sucking hard and im down to50 MP and fresh wore, then ya..ill use it. but if i just finished fresh/haste sycles, i typically wont use it unless its an emergency.

I typically wait til low mp and refresh/haste cycle is almost up then vert before starting it again. In my max MP gear for vert I can finish the cycle then go to regular gear and basically have a free cycle.

Is /DRG viable nowadays with Wyvern Earring and or Wyvern Targe for 1handers?

I went to Dynamis - Jeuno as DNC/DRG in 26% Haste with this equipment set.

With merited Haste Samba, Haste spell and Dual-Marches coupled with Saber Dance, it was as if I was in Hyper-Mode through-out the entire run. Would /NIN with Suppanomimi or even /WAR give better results than /DRG?

/Drg is fun, jumps are great to play with... but 5% Haste from earring vs -20% Delay from sub/earring is a tough sell.

Just did that this morning so I can tell you with 100% certainty that this is true.
Seems like they changed the posistion of the mobs down there or something though, I remember having done that ages ago for my gaudy and it was easy to get the slime without aggroing anything else but there were Makara in bad positions this time and I had to wait about 10min before I could attempt to charm the slime without aggro.

My RDM just hit 50, and I am looking at Ring alternatives. I am currently swapping out pairs of Solace Rings (MND+3 each) and a pair of Wisdom Rings (INT+3 each) as applicable. I am wondering how Balrahn's Ring (Magic Accuracy +5) would stack up to that.

Is it worth subbing out one of my MND/INT rings for Balrahn's Ring at level 50 as an Elvaan RDM? Is it such a small difference I will have to parse it to see results?

For everything except para and slow, it is worth it. For para and slow, use balrahn's until 51 (ele staves), then you won't need it anymore. For silence/sleeps/grav/bind/etc., balrahn's for life imo.

I 2box a cor mule a fair bit. It's useful if my LS is low on numbers for events, and I'm playing blm or drk. It's not much effort to run cor and DD or blm at the same time. I don't use it while tanking though.

It's damned useful for levelling low level jobs too.

I intend to level brd on it at some point too, which should be more useful.

This was what I was leaning towards. I just couldn't figure that losing the potency from MND for Slow and Para was worth the extra +5 Macc. Sounds like a plan, I'll fix my macros tonight when I get home.

Since I never unlocked lolsavageblade, im using my sapara of trials for my fire build on pld. When my sam gets high enough for kasha how do I reset it? I tried trading the weapon back and she just denies it saying I need more ws.

I know it can be done because I swapped from gsword to scythe midway through the quest (I just dont remember how). Im assuming SE wouldnt lock you out of a ws quest for accidentally dropping your trial weapon, so I would think that would be the key but not sure. On that note if that is the reset method, if I eventually end up doing 300 ws on my weapon, can I drop it and reset it? Or will the latent be broken forever?
