Homam probably not but Blau dolch I might. I'm really lving thf to farm and because it's something different. I'm not trying to cut corners on thf I do 400-600 sata+viper bites but I'm also kind of gimp imo.
My set up so far is this.
Bone knife+1 Hornet needle
Noct beret+1
Thug zamburak
Spike necklace beetle earrings+1x2
Brigidine armor
Battle gloves
Woodsman ringsx2
Nomad mantle
Swordbelt
Republic subilgar
and Rse feet
I don't usually macro other items in till I hit 50+ and I been using meat kabobs+1 and those +4agi +4dex food from event that just passed.
Any suggestions on better gear and food is greatly appreciated.
Walkure mask, probably cheaper than Noct beret(which is useless except for TA), Life belt.
I hear conflicting things... mainly conflicting since I would assume HQ elemental staves are better.
HQ staves or Chanter's Staff?
drk/drg (with scythe equiped, not during mk zerg), how do you gear for jump/high jump? i havent' used the sub often enough/parsed to gauge the acc on the JA but i they don't land as often as i'd like. i just switched my gear swaps over to something similiar to my guillotine macro (but w/o gorget) last night but havent' got to use it:
ohat/chain/berk+1/af+1hands/rajas/woodsman/foragers/potent/black/aresfeet/bomblet/brutal/assault
is this set what is needed or are we talking more along the lines of a str WS build? i've dug a bit but there's not too much about it. thanks!
I meant for Marches, though.
I don't see any reason to ever use /drg over /sam outside of a 1h zerg but:
Jump is essentially a 1hit WS with approximately a 50% vit mod, however without the massive acc bonus you normally get with 1hit 2handed WSs, so take that as you will.
As for High Jump simply use what you would for tp if haste didn't exist as it is for all intents and purposes, a normal melee hit.
thanks, that's exactly what i was looking for.
definitely, /sam > /drg in merits.
typically we do JoL with a sam, mandau thf, and me as drk/drg fulltime melee after hate is set and blm's comfy and doing thier thing. was just curious on how to maximize my output between MK SE rushes. our time is down to @23 mins now, going well.
What jobs can solo the Teratotaur for Fomor Codex's at the entrance to sacrium ?
I'm doing it now as blu/nin with whm/blm. Pretty easy only problem is drop rate is a tad low and I can only find two of them and wiki says their are 3 in here.
Two of them are in the north and south mini-rooms in the maze area. If you look at the first map you will spot them easily.
I always did NIN/THF and farmed the Aqueducts. There's the first spot at which you spot 3 DC ones together and you just pull them into that sewer hallway and fight safetly there. If you full debuff them they are a joke and with that new Signet bonus there's no reason you should actually ever take damage. Capped parrying is godly down there as well; you should be able to kill all 3 in about 10min solo.
I use Chanter's Staff for Victory March and Stoneskin. Appropriate elemental staff for debuffs, Terra's Staff for everything else since I like to start singing buffs while the mob I just pulled is coming in, and often it gets a hit in before the tank grabs it off me.
Can solo the stegos on pretty much any job that can handle DC soloing.
I've done it on PUP, BST, DNC and I think maybe even PLD.
