How good is Overlord Bakgodek's accuracy? Want to NIN/DNC solo even though it'll take years to kill.

Hmm. I've heard that too, but I've seen a Kikoku NIN on my server soloing a few things, and he didn't use Jubaku. Guess he may have just been lazy haha. And to answer your question, it does overwrite itself.

Okay, thank you. It overwrites Jubaku, so that may have been why he wasn't using it. Depending what I solo, if/when I got one I might not use it if Jubaku is that much more potent, I'd run tests myself if I had one.

Oh, duh. I completely forgot it overwrote Jubaku, thanks. That raises another question, is Jubaku's potency static? I know normal paralyze's potency is not, but have not seen anything about Jubaku specifically. I know it's hard to test for a hard perecentage, though.

Are there any ways to parse para procs? I do a lot of soloing, and could parse on stuff I solo to find a percentage.

Np, this subject interests me also. I could do it manually, but does the potency scale down/up depending on mob level?

Could save chat log and look over it, but counting swings/paras manually would be a pain. I might try when I have some free time.

It seems like that really would be the only way, sadly. Any Kikoku owners have any opinion on en-paralyze vs. Jubaku? I've heard Kikoku's was "worse" from a few places now, but by how much?

Alathars swore by the Kikoku para. I think it´s just bad. Maybe it´s my Elv INT and it´s similar to icespike. But jubaku is like double the procs.

When's a good level to start subbing SAM to WAR, 50/60/70?

Anyone know how often you can switch Nations. I want to do the other nations missions but I really don't want to be without my OPs for long when doing them.

If there's any wait at all, it can't be more than one conquest tally. Sandy has a couple JP-midnight waits in the mission sequence anyway, and Windurst's missions require a RL week's worth of running around so it's not that bad.

For SCH Phalanx

= 356 +45 skill = total 301

=28

So if I drop all my Enhancing merits I can still stick at 27 on SCH but I need 4 to hit 28.

For RDM if I keep my 4 merits I'll ding into 297 worth of skill+gear but am not very likely to get RDM hands because our RDM relic list is the size of War & Peace so any coming up open lot isn't going to happen. (I'm BLM main lot anyway).

Which means for me, my SCH is better geared for Phalanx but will lose out a lil if I drop the merits. My WHM could take the hit of losing enhancing more easily.

I think I just need relic hat for BLM, rather than rejig merits.

This. If you're leveling WAR in pickup parties there's a good chance the other people will suck and you'll be dominating hate throughout the fights, and absorbing one hit from Third Eye just isn't enough.

Anyone have a link to Up in Arms being successfully solo'd by a RDM? LSmate told me he saw one on here a few months back, BG search yielded nothing, and youtube search yielded a rdm with NQ staffs, no macros, and no gear swaps trying but failing miserably.

Just looking for a nice blog about BLU itself. Details/Pictures like a Rukenshin/Kaeko style update would be nice. There was this mithra BLU named Pii iirc back in the day as one of the first BLU's to solo imps and what not, would like the link to that and any others that would provide a good read!

Also: Temenos to get BLU/BLM/RDM. Does not have to be just one zone. My jobs in the sig, girlfriend is a BLM or RDM. What areas could we duo with the most chances to get an item chest with the aforementioned items?
