I'd say just go with whatever's easiest for you to obtain, either will work. I beat RDM Maat with shitty Elvaan INT and a very limited knowledge of how to play the game (didn't read too many forums back then!) without too much issue, if something goes wrong it'll probably be a fluke that you couldn't help anyway (sleep resisting, etc.).

Difference will be negligible. Go with the one you already have. If you already have both...eh, I'd try the Cobra for the off chance you get a Conserve MP proc out of them.

IMO, for the RDM Maat fight in general, don't overthink it. To a degree, sure, gear n' all that will help you...but you can still be unlucky. On the flip side, it didn't take much in gear/etc to win years ago, much less now =P
Go in with good gear and a plan, but don't pin all your hopes on one attempt or anything.

assuming you don't have suppa, I'd say hollow for sure the +acc/dex make it great for spells, and tping[hollow/brutal best aside suppa] though I have ethereal personally but that's cause of drg. If you have suppa it's closer between magnetic and hollow.

Ok Thanks to both of you. I already have River Gaiters <3.

As for putting all my hopes on one attempt, I really don't have any problems obtaining more Testimonies (<3 Raen my THF whore friend). It will just be annoying buying more meds.

Meds are unnecessary for that fight. Can be nice, potentially, but in my experience they were not the difference between winning and losing. I think my winning run I used a Pumpkin Pie or something, and that was all for expendables.

Even NQ Behemoth is botted here. :D I have horrible luck on drops from TT/Amikiri, and how long does Ash Dragon take without Weapon Skilling?

You can stay alive forever against bakgodek solo, he doesn't have DA and if you have a decent ninjutsu set you can stick both hojo and kura reliably. However, he cures himself a lot and your damage is pretty piddly, you'd be hard pressed to actually kill him on /dnc. I have not personally tried, though I had computer problems dual boxing it and had no problem holding it for around 10 minutes while I got my other computer back up(while meleeing, not just turned away).

I don't recall him curing last time I fought, and I have 310 Ninjutsu in my set, would that be enough?

Does using the wall of justice trick on jailers still work? And if it does, has anyone ever gotten "in trouble" for doing it(warning, ban, suspension, etc.)?

it depends on the GM, or if anyone calls a GM on you period, the only documented case of someone getting in trouble was AV eons ago. and yes, it still works

Ethereal is pretty nice for BRD/WHM in Campaign too, since I prefer to tank mobs in order to get more exp. Good DDs can pull them off of me (and then probably cry for cures), but fortunately/unfortunately there are few of those. My DRG friends who like to solo love Ethereal, as you might expect. I also used it in exp with WAR/SAM and Rune Chopper for a bit, which was pretty fun.

Do crit hits give higher chance of interrupting mob spell cast?

Anecdotaly, yes. No evidence beyond it happening in my experience though.

Does the 3 different 3000IS ISNM have different drop rates on Khroma Ore? I been duoing Compliments to the Chef and have yet seen a Khroma Ore in quite alot of runs. People said the drop rate in the Puk one is like 20%?

The drop rate has been about the same for me. From the ISNMS I've done (Puk and flan, for a total of about... 19,20 times each?) I've seen a drop about every third or fourth run. That has stayed consistent in my experiences with both these ISNMs, so, I believe the chance remains the same, you just have bad luck Syanonn-cat.
