On Proto-omega, yay or nay for RNG? Does it work fine on both forms? Only two-legs?
RNG is good as it doesn't need to be in range of all the nasty AoE to do damage. Like all physical DD, it only does decent damage during two leg form.
2 questions.
1. Is Hydra's Phys. Shield a static time or is it capable of being knocked off by enough phys. damage. Is there any difference between normal Hydra or Einherjar or ZNM Hydra in regards to that question.
2. I lost the link to Elmer's guard guide using pup...does anyone remember where it was?
Two legs are basically physical DD jobs to deal damage.
Four legs are basically magical DD jobs to deal damage.
The only DD that can do 2 form is BLU (breath on 4 legs, SATACA cannonball on 2 legs) and probably PUP
RNG is ranged DD, generally good to avoid AoE stun cannon and such from Omega. It's also good for claiming the Gun Pod with Barrage (And let the BLM finish it with just 1 volley)
First time asking a question here in ages:
Does using Hi-Potions generate an amount of hate comparable to curing yourself for that amount of HP? I've always assumed it did from experience lowmanning CoP missions, but never seen any proof and couldn't find it mentioned anywhere.
I think there's just an unusual amount of hate generated from using items in general, I doubt it has anything to do with how much cured. Multiple experiences getting hate from eating food have shown me this.
Kaeko's testing says 300 VE (roughly 1/6th of a voke) from using an item. If you wanted to test if there's more enmity than this, I'd suggest having one person to pull, one person SAM or /SAM (for meditate, 320 CE) with Phalanx and Stoneskin up before the pull (to take 0 dmg) and another person to use the item. Have the SAM or /SAM cure 1 the puller for 0 then meditate, have the item user cure 1 the puller 20 times for zero then use the item. Preferably it would be, say, a vile elixir giving the full restore effect. If the mob looks away from the meditator and towards the item user it means there is an enmity effect from HP cured.
But I highly doubt there's an enmity effect.
EDIT: Orrrrrr you could just have person C pull and take no damage/lose no shadows, have person A and person B cure 1 person C, then have both simultaneously use meds to recover vastly different amounts of HP and see who has hate...
But I'm also certain amount restored doesn't matter, it's just item usage that generates hate...
In Voluptuous Vivian's room in Boyahda Tree, I've heard that the saplings share spawn points with Spiders. With this in mind is there any way to convert the entire room into Saplings or is there a limit to how many of either can be up?
I had someone train spiders and fake d/c on me there before, they aggroed me. Unless my understanding of the depop system is wrong, they would have just depopped if it was outside their normal area, so I assumed it's just an extremely low chance they go there on their own.
Clarifications for Bahamut v2:
Shell beat O2 for the first time, onto b2 fight. Now, we know that it can be melee zerged, just want to clear up a couple things.
a) 1 RDM/DRK will do? Or do you need to overlap stuns with 2?
b) 2 Bards: can we get away without SV Madrigal? 3 bards for us atm might be tough (smaller shell). Definitely Feint + Angon.
c) Initial aggro; do you need something like a PLD or NIN to initially aggro and hold Bahamut before bum rushing it? (set up, get stunner ready, feint / angon on, etc).
Any other tips appreciated too![]()
I have no experience with GMs, so a few questions:
1. Do I need to be online for a GM to take action against a player I report?
2. I am currently exping on a ~65 job...some trio with a lvl 75 came and started camping on top of us...after an hr or so of bullshit, we moved to a different camp...they followed us...we moved again, they followed us again...will a GM even do anything?
