Just messed around with this trying to find a solution.
/follow turns autofollow on but won't turn it off. Whatever your auto-run key is turns it off. Swapping visible gear on the person being followed does nothing.

Swapping visible gear on the person following turns off autofollow. So Matix was spot-on.

Whats an average price for the 4 Kirin seals? I see alot of Genbu and Byakko for under 100k but all the Suzaku and Seiryu I find are way overpriced (I think...?). Usually 300k+, but I don't see very many of those.

Hitting keypad 7 cancels /follow, and you can write a windower macro to do that.

But a simpler solution would just be to have them /follow you instead of the mob; when their target is locked they'll follow it, and when it dies they go back to following you.

That's how I had it set up already. When the mob dies they just go running off.

I have it set to
/follow vegetto
Then when i engage as vegetto i have the other char
/attack <bt>
it runs over to the mob and when the mob dies it just keeps going.

Also, how would i get it to hit keypad 7 as opposed to it thinking its regular 7?

Weird, I use macros like

/follow player
/assist player
/wait 1
/attack on

and it always goes back to following player when the mob dies. Are you sure you aren't telling it to follow the mob at some point?

As for your other question,

100% sure. the macro i use to have the 2nd player attack is simply /attack <bt>

You may have already solved it, but I'd like to hear what the solution is, please. >_<; I suspect one of two problems:

(1) you're blinking out during the fight and so the follow gets messed up

(2) /assist changes the target but retains the autofollow, while /attack <bt> does not

Regardless, I think you can set up a macro that will, at worst, cancel autofollow (it hits Numpad7, which is the same key for autorun, yes? It's "R" on my notebook keyboard setup) and then re-start autofollow on you.

At best, Valyana's macro setup will preserve the autofollow through battle.

Bio 1 = 60 seconds
Bio 2 = 120 seconds
Bio 3 = 30 x #merits seconds

They cannot be resisted.

That's the problem.

Use /assist instead of /attack <bt>

I never use the <bt> command because of the weird targeting issues. <lastst> or /assist name only.

nope. acc/atk works better. So basically if you do dynamis then a wyrm belt would be great.
