On 5F I'd go ahead and put everyone in charm range. It's possible to kite a little but if some of your melee have dusk they eventually get kind of spread out and it's harder to dodge them all, plus after it uses Providence the frog can break out the -ga3s and it will be hard to outrange them. Unfortunately frogs can't be poisoned, which limits your options for DoT stacking. Have your brd spam requiem as it will sometimes stick, and make sure someone's applying dia or bio every time it wears off. If you're not planning on boss you might even bring a blm, elemental DoTs make it much easier to keep the frog from regening (although there's a risk of a 1% charm and it dying unclaimed, make sure you stun at low hp if you have more than one DoT on).

I am captain in-game thus have completed all 50, and have 100 nyzul runic key thing, but I'm still sitting at 50%

I've always done keep DOTs on the frog, everyone stand in AOE range. I have been having timeout issues recently on the 5f frog because of how often it spams charmga. Last run I went with a new LS, and the wleg RDM was standing outside charm range and Sleepga us > kite, supposedly to ensure DOTs on but also to showoff a little I think. Anyways, it worked ok on the lower frogs but he ended up getting owned on 5f. So moral of the story: simpler to stand in AOE range, frequently apply / reapply DOT, and preferrably get a stunner of some sort.

Use a WS to break the sleep on the frog with. The 1 sam that is in can just save meditate for right after a charm. If the frog charms really fast after getting out, then it may not be up (have the 2nd sam WS as soon as charm ends and tank it for a bit?), but most the time it's up or ~15 seconds away. It's a very safe way to deal with it if you dislike the dot/charm everyone strat.

To my understanding this is because the LS Community doesn't recognize Captain rank yet. It only goes up to First Lieutenant. Since FFXIAH can't tell if you actually have Captain or not, it'll permanently show as 1000/2000, at least until SE updates the LS Community.

Also, I have a question:

I've been helping some LS members with Chapter 8 of CoP, and found out I somehow never managed to get the Palace/Garden maps. I got the Palace map the other night, but looking at the Quasilumin placement in the Garden, I'm considering just running in on my BLM for the ones in the race towers and escaping out. My question is, does it remember if you've talked to Quasilumin if you've zoned, or do you need to talk to all of them in a certain area without zoning?

When I was trying to solo for cape, I just slept the Erlik and recast my S&I and waited in range for it to wake up. After it woke up I ran back to that tunnel at start of room making sure to not go too far away to lose hate.

Trying to solo pull Baobhan sith was a fucking pain though. I had to of died like 5 times trying to get it all the way to the beginning area of tunnel. It loses hate often.

Erlik is sleepable? Thought Ghost's were resistant, undead etc

I tried to Gravity and pull it but kept losing hate, then it casted Bio II and knocked my sneak off near all the undead.

Ghosts take dark-based Sleep just fine, skeles/toads are a bit more resistant.

Eh ended up getting a BST friend to use a Demonic Pugil to pull it. For some reason every time we got to the mouth of the tunnel where goblins began it deaggro'd. Even while standing right next to it...

To clarify, since I can't answer the question itself without said earring:

I can only assume he's wondering if you still get MP return when you take a hit, even though no damage goes through Stoneskin. It's not too far-fetched, since Souleater removes points from Stoneskin before your actual HP.

I'm unsure as to when the conversion on damage taken to mp takes place tbh. Would the ethereal convert the original damage you take before anything modifies this or would it convert after defense, phalanx, stoneskin etc?

Sorry if it's sounds stupid but i suck at asking questions. I hate asking questions but if you don't know something and you can't find an answer on wiki...

The 3% DMG -> MP conversion takes place after all those other factors, yes; and only when you take 33 damage or greater.

i.e. You have a 410 stoneskin, and are hit with something that would normally do 200 damage, no MP is gained.

For Zhaylom Remnants, 5th Floor Porrogo~ How do people find it best to fight it?

I like to Horde Lullaby charmed peeps right after charm (need to be fast to stick it before they blink out) and Bind the Madame. Horde on a player will only hit players, so you don't have to worry about getting Rampart adds.

Question: I'm upgrading a piece of SMN AF today. I have oracle's legs which is +5 smn skill, which is roughly equivalent to 5 avatar accuracy. Anyone know the accuracy bonus on evoker's legs+1? I've never been able to find it anywhere.
