Random question, don't need the answer by any means, was just browsing the AH and was curious.

Lets say for some reason you are playing as a pld/drk, wielding a greatsword. Would the bash+10 on knightly earring effect Weapon Bash? As far as I know its the only just "Bash" + piece.

Pld/drk would be a stun machine! Mercurial Sword + Plat. grip, Weapon and shield bash and stun! Seriously! (not serious)

There's a G.Sword with "Enhances Weapon Bash" on it, but I can't remember if Pld can use it.

I'm not sure, but don't the "Enchanes Bash" effects only affect the Stun rate? If so, then there's no real point in using them since the proc rate is near 100% on just about everything now. (Rdm/Drk Weapon Bash is fun lol)

And Merc. Sword + Plat. grip is fun :D

my q: how tough is fenrir? one thing ive never tried in game and me and a friend were wondering if we can duo it, ive seen the solo video on stage6 so i guess tank + healer would work ?

He's not incredibly hard, but I'm not sure if Tank + Healer could pull it off. One of the main reasons Rdm can solo it is because they avoid most/all of Fenrir's attacks. Eclipse Bite can Hurt as can Howling Moon. Plus there's the full Dispelga.

Lowest I've killed it with was 4: Nin/War, War/Nin, Rdm/Drk, Brd/Whm. We fight it as normal, then at about 55% I CS+Stun it while War and Nin force out Howling Moon. HM gets stunned and after that there's basically no worries.

Not really. I'd say for level caps, but most/all are 41+ and there's generally better alternatives that are 50 or just below for 50 cap events.

When requesting AF, you have to request the weapon as well. So you'd have to toss it anyways.

Now that we're 0/25 on tsukikazu sune-ate, I'm looking to pick up some /shout parties for SS remnants in the off days, but only the JP really do shouts.

For the shouts where they don't tab anything out, what telltale combos should I be looking for to indicate a SS run?

?????? - Silver Sea (not commonly used)
?? - Silver Seas (more commonly used)
?? - Boss

Good luck though, even as a bard I've never managed to get into a JP salvage pickup without displaying some knowledge of Japanese.

How do you set up windower macros? Getting to the point where I have more than 6 pieces of gear to change. I looked around on their forums, but could only find other macro programs.

Here's an example of one of mine. Basically though, it's the same thing as a standard SE macro, except with "input" at the beginning of each line.

There are a few ways to do it. The easy way is to just put it in the Scripts folder in windower, and activate it using /console exec (filename). This line will also work in a macro. Another way is to use a separate file to define aliases and call those aliases with a macro, but it might be unnecessarily complicated for what you're doing so I won't go into it unless you want me to.

you should have your windower folder and there is a folder inside called scripts you put the text, in (duh) text files in that folder

Plan on leveling Cor to 75 next, only problem is I have no joytoy and doubt I'll be getting one soon (my work/class/RL schedule is beyond fucked) would I be a major gimp? and what would be a better alternative?

If you can get a M.Kris that works just as well to TP in, otherwise in terms of DoT/TP building you may be better off to just use a Trailer's Kukri or Fire Staff and shoot for TP. A bit expensive(likely moreso than the M.Kris over time), but in terms of output it would probably be the way to go. Otherwise something along the lines of a Jambiya or a 224~ delay sword might be workable, it certainly wouldn't be close to Joy/Kris in terms of TP build but I don't think you'd be called out as an incredible gimp for it.

Does anyone know approximately how much XP/AN is required to maintain Holyknight rank on day 5?

In general, for the purpose of tping on RNG (not WSes) is X amount of ranged attack going to be better than 2X-1 amount of STR? Does it reach a point where that is not necessarily true?

For campaign, do you get fewer points, or slower point accumulation, or any sort of debunk for campaigning in another nation's territory?
