Ok so this does work? Wanted to know before setting up a static for it.

Going to be doing salvage for the first time soon and we just want to kind of get the hang of it. Any suggestions for an easy zone we can do with 6?
If ur not attempting boss, Bhaf Remnants. Plenty of cells to go around
hmm, i'd say easiest in terms of mobs? Bhaf>ssr>mtz>arra(assuming you've never gone before) in terms of bosses Bhaf>SSR(1st time remember XP ) Mtz>and arra. I'd try bhaf to get a feel, then work your way out form there.
ty guys ^^
Is it true that if Guard procs on a TP move that it will completely nullify the damage showing it as a miss? I've read Genome's LJ entry about this and it just seems a little too good, not to imply that he's lying. Any one have any insight to this or opinions on the matter?
You still take damage, but it displays as a miss. If you look closely, your HP still goes down.
I'm assuming so, but unless I'm at full hp when it happens which usually isn't the case never rly know the exact dmg taken just notice the HP going down.
Have even guarded gekkos in ballista that say that missed that still did damage and left me silenced
Can you get weaponskill points on campaign mobs without tags on?
No, they don't give exp.
You can parry, shield block, and evade TP moves obviously. I can say first hand that you can guard a mob WS, due to getting Guard skillups while leveling a mule for fun, was killing gobbies in Valk, got a Rush and distinctly remember the weirdness of "uses Goblin Rush, but misses..." and guard 0.3.
Parry skillups off Violent rupture rock
Someone mentioned certain zones having a "skill cap level"
Truth? And if so, how about Sea? What's it's lvl, trying to skill String skill.
Pretty sure I got cap or almost capped spamming threnodies on the tougher hpemdes. Then again, I might have given up due to boredom and just let finale casts get me cap for string.
edit: as for the comment above, sure you can cap in town, but threnodies are like 1/4 the cast time of things that would be used in town.
You get much faster skill ups targeting an enemy than you do targeting yourself. There's no skill level cap to any zone to my knowledge, but you can only gain skill ups on any enemy up to the skill cap for the enemy's level.
I ended up getting it on the Hmpende's![]()
