Tomoe sam with dex build over standard tomoe sam build?

If you don't want to sacrifice important stuff like haste, 5-hit build (assuming 4/5 Penta lands) and hitrate it'd be easier (and probably better?) with love halberd.

118 DEX needed. Byakko's 15, Rajas 20, Love Torque 25, Usukane body 33, Hollow earring 35, Askar hands 40. You'd need 78 base DEX, something which only mithra w/ DEX merits has. You'd need 71 base w/ Love Halberd. Could opt for a thunder ring, it'd be the least sacrificial. Need 2 more w/o Usukane body.

If an area crashes and is reset (server side) does it reset the ToDs of mobs?

So if Aery crashes and they reboot, will the ToD for Fafhogg change, or does it stay the same?

Is Counterstance ok to use fulltime when fighting mobs of a much higher level than you? The -def doesnt really make much of a difference I take it?

I used counterstance a bunch while leveling. Probably more than I should have. It seemed like it helped more than it hurt on monsters with no physical TP attack. You don't want to eat a goblin rush with counterstance up.

Searched this thread and couldn't find it. Gnadbhod's helm vs. Mirrage keffiyeh, for which of the main spells would each one be better?

Full merits and body is what it takes for hat to jump your base damage up a lvl with keffiyeh, otherwise no competition.

Otherwise Chain Affinity = Gnabhod, no CA=Keffiyeh.

Ok I've been wondering for sometime now, has anyone found the amount or % of snapshop that is giving by the Zha'Go's Barbut.

I've had this helm for a while now and well I love the thing, enmity - 5 rACC and rATT + 8 on a helm is hard to beat for RNG.

However in light of the new expansion and update giving the new bodies, I would like to just figure out if someone has figured it out or try and come up with an amount of snapshot for the barbut.

The best way I've been able to figure in my head for going about this is lvl syncing @ 71 - 74 (to remove effect of my snapshot merits), load up time stamp and compare delay rates with the helm on and off, then work out the difference. What im hoping is someone has all ready done this and can save me some work, time and math which happens to be one of my weak points.

I wouldn't risk it the move hits like a truck if bad time, it's not that bad of boss assuming you got two tanks and good support.

Actually, for a method to cap it nice and fast this is what I did, a la Ryko.

Seigan will actually make this not work well because when you counter you will get hate on the puks and any sort of spells cast on you will give hate to the mages.

This is wrong, you can use seigan, I prefer to skill up parry on sam over nin because of this, especially if you don't have a rdm with phalanx II. The counter doesnt ruin initial hate tanking, and you can parry with seigan+third eye up if anyone was thinking of saying you can't.

Are drop rates broken or something because I killed 10 Eo'ghrahs on nin and got 4 chips. After dying twice I came back on rdm and nuked down 23 without a single chip drop.

What's the best job to kill these things efficiently without the chance of dying, besides thief.

Friend farmed them fairly easily using SAM/DNC, would think NIN/DNC or BLU/NIN would work the best though.

What is the secondary effect on Blade: Metsu? (not the subtle blow aftermath)

Ex: On Yoichi, the aftermath is ranged acc+; but the WS itself has a secondary effect of cauing an enmity reduction on itself.

All relic WSs seem to follow this pattern. What is Metsu's?

Metsu's description is "Additional effect: Paralysis." It's aftermath is the subtle blow enhancement. To my knowledge, there's nothing else special about it.

Drop rate sounds about right to me. The broken part is the 4/10, lol.
As for farming, I used to do that as mnk/nin. It isn't as safe as some of the other combos, but if you have a good chakra build + invig merits, you'll be killing them faster than if you were on sam/dnc, nin/dnc, or blu/nin as was suggested earlier.
