You can duo Like the Wind with the MNK and a Healer np. You could prolly do Sheep in Antlion's clothing with a BLM and a RDM or a MNK and RDM but the RDM will take a beating.

should have mentioned, the first person could possibly dual box thf, nin, or sam

If either of you can use apradar or another program that shows their locations whilst underground then Sheep in Antlion's Clothing is the most rewarding and is an easy duo with any mage + melee.

talking about cures:
No server-side tiers, there are client-side ANIMATION tiers, which also appear to determine when the recast timer starts to count down. But tomorrow I will have -50% fastcast on my cures so I will find out for you if that gives another animation tier

as far as not cures, I really don't think there are any tiers server-side at all, but I have no testing to back this up, the only reason I have this opinion is because why does loqacious or rostrum pumps exist if there are tiers.

edit: not quite 50% because LA and fastcast are multiplied instead of added. I don't know I will see, I should have loq soon <.<;;;;;;;;;

When deciding where to skill up a weapon, do we just look at the weapon's skill or do we take a job's level into it, too? For example, my Sam wants to level Polearm, which is at 192. Do I go to a camp that has mobs that are EM to the level my Sam would be for skill 192, or do I go to the camp that would be based entirely on if the weapon was an A+ to my Sam?

Based entirely on the weapon, but you can "overcamp" a little if you're higher level because level correction will inflate your accuracy. For example, a level 75 could skill up a gimp weapon in Qufim if they were in the double digits for that weapon's skill.

Even with the NM completely ignoring pet hate? (Hence /NIN etc I assume). I remember dual boxing a BST and SMN in and finding out the hard way that it'll come straight for you and not being set up for it

Equivalent level. Usually you want to target mobs that are 5 or so levels above what your current skill level is at (at lower levels, more is usually fine, near cap you obviously don't need to shoot that high).

192 Polearm for your SAM is between the cap for 59 and 60...so mobs around level 65 or so would probably be a good target.

does subtle blow affect blu magic? (doubtful)

Spell recast is hard capped at 50%, I'm not sure if Grimoires or Strategems can break this cap or not, but Fast Cast can't.
Yes, Subtle Blow effects all damage dealt to the enemy, even magic.
No, Double Attack does not affect magic.
