The following is from otherwiki in regards to strategies for the Requiem of Sin BC for X's Knife. Does anyone have experience with such a method and is there any truth to the statement that 5 or 6 -aga III spells will down all three of them?Originally Posted by failwiki
Does Resentment Cape work in Sea/Limbus areas?
Fumas should be the best boots for TP, Hume RSE2 for WS.
I'm assuming that you just listed your TP gear, but for WS you could have another STR ring, as well as Pallas' Bracelets (which should only be used if you're using GK). Also consider Shinimusha Haidate on your legs for TPing, if the combination of them/Rajas/Chiv.Chain gives you enough Store TP to take a hit off to get to 100% (I don't know offhand, I'd have to do the math).
Looks good to me otherwise.
Is there some sort of time limit between when Mog Tablets scatter, and when they're available to be found?
My Dynamis LS fought our first Animated Weapon yesterday, the GK, was surprisingly weak. Some questions about them came up:
Have all the Animated Weapons got about the same amount of HP?
Do any of them have special moves or resistances that make them harder to beat than the others?
Does the shield one take considerable less physical damage?
well, they all have different quirks. iirc the gaxe casts absorb spells, the horn has a nasty habit of lullaby, the shield gets heavy -mdt (do not quote me on that) and has an AoE shield bash w/ stun and pretty solid damage making it a bit of a pain in the ass. none of them are really all that hard, some just have some ass moves that can make it a headache.
How do I cap stoneskin on PLD/RDM?
I'm Hume, so 68 base MND, with 210 enhancing.
So far I've put together Sapphire ring x2, Jet seraweels(lol), AF1 head, promise badge, and devotees mitts.
I don't really see any alternatives that won't crush my wallet, i.e. communion earrings, aqua rings, devotees +1, etc.
neptune? tamas/omega umm that one sea earring that gives 2 MND
I'm not willing to swap to a staff and lose tp/chance an interruption.
Also tamas/omega nets me the same +MND as my current rings, but would waste ampoules and rajas ring.
brd songs then..lol
Animated Shield takes a shitload of dmg from melee; seen 3k+ Steel Cyclones from average players.
They also all have unique quirks regarding what causes them to remain interested. In an interview a couple months ago it was explained that this may include (but not be limited to) using JAs, not using JAs, casting spells, not casting spells, using weaponskills, not using weaponskills, etc etc etc. SE would not give any specific examples of what weapon was interested in what behavior.
The only one I know of that is really well established is that the dagger always gains interest when a NIN uses Mijin Gakure.
No one really cares much because they are all zergable.
Thank you very much, guys. Any idea on their amount of hp? The GK turned out to only have 25850.
Adaman Cuirass (4 MND), Al Zahbi/Moon Sash (2~3 MND), Valor Leggings. Maybe some cheap pieces can be augmented with +MND, with enough luck.I don't really see any alternatives that won't crush my wallet, i.e. communion earrings, aqua rings, devotees +1, etc.
I got a Rainbow obi with +5 Mnd doing azure key spam... pretty bitchin for Pld since it's the only non-RSE piece with more than like 3 Mnd.
