MB+5% vs MAB+5

How, if at all, is there any difference between these two?

If you had no MAB, and no other MB bonus (sorc gloves, AM2 merits, etc), they'd both give you the exact same increase--5%.

But in practice, you have more MAB to start off from job trait and common gear, and even if you also have some other MB bonus stuff, it's probably less so, so static wins.

Fairly certain they can, not that I did controlled testing but I've seen occasional nukes on Groundskeepers where it was a bit over what a normal 50% resist would be, and Day/Weather was ruled out. I only have Witch Sash so kinda hard to exactly peg that down, but I would go with yes.

It's an MAB/MDB boost, I'm not sure if they're dispellable, but it can lead to some nasty Nox Blasts from what I've seen.

i don't believe so. MAB doesn't affect cure (except when used as a nuke, but meh.)

How much does 8/8 GKT merits do for SAM? Most SAM's I've been in PT with that have 8/8 GKT and similar gear to mine and the difference isnt big at all, very small in fact, higher ACC for sure, but that only counts towards the TPing phase of the job so..
Speaking about Hagun SAMs in general, no Amano SAMs.
