yea, the price isn't so bad. it was more of the games description on how to get it when it's retired. it says you get the card, but it doesn't say if you can do it more than once. ty muchOriginally Posted by Wolfknight
I guess you didn't grind your RNG in 60s pre sushi?Originally Posted by Cyn
I was leveling RNG in Valley of Sorrow when sushi was first introduced. Before, I have to wait my TP build on 120-130 range if I was fighting crab. In Labyrinth of Onzozo, I always save up TP on 150-200 range before unleashing my Sidewinder. With sushi, I could just expect 90%+ of my sidewinder land on Toramas once I saw my TP bar blinking.
Extra TP does add to your acc.
There was a discussion on how TP affected fTP of certian WS. The argument was brought about because WS Modifier Lists only showed how fTP worked at 100/200/300 TP. This lead people to believe that using said WS at 100 TP and 150 TP yielded no difference. I can't find the thread, but I believe it was shown using Spirit's Within that the game does recognize the TP in smaller steps. (I could be mistaken, if anyone knows of the data, please correct me if I'm wrong.)
Imagine that each WS has an fTP that affects base accuracy. (In addition to a seperate fTP which affects the base damage.) The TP from your slugwinder will affect that base accuracy even with small amounts of extra TP. Like VZX said, saving up a bit of extra TP is noticable during the lvl grinds when not using sushi.
Unless it was ninja fixed recently, Sanction and Sigil will activate those effects as well. However the effects are still restricted to pre ToAU zones (Original/RoZ/CoP).Originally Posted by Alexandor
No, I did level RNG pre sushi, but I never noticed a difference in slugwinder accuracy until around 150 TP.Originally Posted by VZX
hokay so i gotta choose my toau ring, ulthalam's seems the typical choice, but i'm wondering which of the rings are truly awesome for their class
i'm close to maats cap, i have rajas/jaeger and that's fine for most dd jobs for me, i don't do salvage alot as yet so the additional bonuses arent a big draw atm
tbh i'm leaning towards the RNG ring, but i guess i'm wondering if any of the rings are must have or mediocre, tbh ulth doesnt impress me that much
How did that guy say it.
"Divisor is 6 Acc 3 Att at certain levels, Ulth is 4 Acc 4 Att from 50 up, and has that Assault/Salvage good shit too, why is Divisor omgwtfamazing, but Ulth is shit again?"
Ulthalam ring is pretty good, definitely better than a nq sniper. If you don't have 7-acc rings, pick it with no regrets.
i guess thats the thing, ive been considering getting a pair of snipe+1s again, had em before and loved emOriginally Posted by aurik
just wondering if my 75rdm would be shit w/o mage ring or rng shit w/o RNG ring
so i know lars is the "king of damage" i'm curious as to why though.
regular deremites dont have double attack (i watched for it quite a bit... unless it's super rare i didnt see it in 3-4 fights and that's more than enough for either enemy or pet to double) does lars?
how does he stack up in regards to counter and kick attacks adding up from homunculus (if your pet is tanking, which most cases it is)
looking at it from the outside... barring tp skills, wouldnt homunculus's perm double and multiple kick attacks/counters/gaurds outdo it ? i'm betting the tp gain is a factor here, but even so... i'm still curious as to why it's said lars is better overall.
Uncapped, TP move range, could have sword he had a random endrain proc too.
homunculus is uncapped as well. that's why it confuses me
What kind of additional effect damage do you see from weapons with 'charged ammunition?'
i.e. Spark Lance (lv34) with Battery(lv10) or Kilo battery(lv30) vs. a random exp mob (VT-IT) without strength or weakness to lightning damage.
COULD HAVE SWORD HE HAD
*fails*
I just wanna see Bsts with Uncapped Leech, Slime, Coeurl, Puk, Ladybug, Colibri, and Hecteye jugs, and I wanna see my head on my pillow, so good night.

ty for reply though, i didnt know about the random endrain
Was lvling COR /w a Spark Bilbo. Added effect was procing 20 damage. Honestly it didn't proc very often at all, I was kinda disappointed. All the mobs were IT.Originally Posted by Rama
The otherwiki says 1 AGI = +1.5 weapon base damage during Trick attack, and 1 DEX = +1.5 weapon base damage during Sneak Attack.Originally Posted by Khajit
The question is, how do weapon base damage and attack compare to each other?
No and No, though I've heard the RNG ring is very nice, neither are essential. Mage ring is AMAZING in salvage / assaults though.Originally Posted by Howard Roark
On a crit like SATA, weapon base is going to shine more, since the formula is more lenient. All weapons have a hard cap of damage they can do, not sure the formula, but I used to hit it alot on my NIN in dec weapon exp before people had a clue what haste build was all about. I know for fudo it's 153 damage, no matter what, that 39 base damage weapon will ever exceed that on a normal crit. I can only assume that SATA has a cap based on your weapon damage + DEX and AGI.Originally Posted by Wyti
