Awesome.
Thank you very much for the response and information. It is very helpful. Greatly appreciated.
AFTER you have at least 1 other person who's staying in enter the bc. otherwise, the bc will detect no members inside and deconstruct.Originally Posted by Keria
edit w/ a question of my own: how long after you stop paying for an account can you reactivate it w/o a return home campaign going on? the chars were not deleted, just the account payments were canceled.
No as emnity is not gain or lose?Originally Posted by Callisto
Absorb-acc, recently purchased it for my drk but haven't had much time to test it out.
Anyone have rough estimate or done tests to see how much acc you gain with the use of abs-acc? 1/2 resists, 1/4 resists, 1/8 resists occur or too hard to tell?

still waking up, so, if i (pld, drk, mnk) used my orb, brought in my alt (rdm) and a 3rd, i could leave, keep my alt, and someone else can come in in my place? been doin kraken bcs on my alt, and hes out of seals, and my jobs arent that great for it ;/Originally Posted by Rocl

Rocl, Kuno, and Septimus are doing Kraken BCNM! Yay us! However, Septimus is bringing his second character, Atumre, with him for an extra orb.
When it comes time for Atumre's orb, he enters as normal, and when he sees Rocl enter, Atumre leaves the BCNM. Then, both Kuno and Septimus enter, and do the BCNM as normal.
We also get a kraken club cause we're awesome.
Does that answer your question?
Was +18acc that degrades over time (quantity I'm sure of, don't remember clearly about the degrading). As far as resists, I don't remember seeing partial resists (wears off the mob before you), but I've gotten full resists on some things: salvage chariots, limbus mobs at times. Can't speak for merit mobs as I haven't had the chance to merit in half of forever, and now Bhaf. Thickets is a deadzone -____-Originally Posted by Bulletbeast
What is the best ratt food for RNG? Both 30min and 3hr, and both moderately inexpensive and expensive. Also, I'm lv58 atm if that changes anything from lv75.
i'd say coeurl subs 30 min / yellow curry 3hr on a budget, both are very cheapOriginally Posted by Ryushii
30 min i'd say coeurl subs(unless rabbit pie turns out to give ranged attack as well, then that), for 3hr food, red curry.
yellow curry is the 'cheap' red curry, both are excellent, but red curry has a higher % r. att cap(18%, capping at +150) and more str. the kicker is unless you're well merited, or more importantly have a bard, you won't be using the full potential of red curry. should you have a bard, red curry, while expensive(requires dragon meat), isn't wallet breaking since many people, myself included, opt for using it to get to 100 cooking instead of ambrosia(in my case because it was a mule character, and i can't kill bees and keep dedalus in CN at the same time), so it's price may have come down a bit.
generally speaking, coeurl subs are what you will see most rangers eat. however, one three hour food i dont see many rangers eat is hedgehog pie, which has more str than yellow curry, +2 mnd(never hurts the holy bolts), and 15 more att, and and at least on alexander, runs about 15k a pop. also, i've got a theory(it could be bunnies...), that while never tested, hedgehog pie gives +5 r. acc, since it gives +5 melee acc, and the att/r. att stats are identical. again, this is a completely unfounded, random theory with a buffy the vampire slayer reference in it, so take it at face value. but +5 r. acc or not, hedgehog pie is the superior att food for rng that lasts three hours.
but on a budget(and you'll have to check this yourself), on alexander, hedgehog pies are ~15k, yellow curry are 6k, red curry is 45k.
dont forget Bison/Marbled steak, they pretty cheap too and give huge r.att
i totally forgot bison steak, good add... same att bonus as hedgehog w/o the acc... the reason i forgot about it is just largely because it's a rare make on alex![]()
Does Aquan Killer work on Genbu/Adamantoise/Aspi?
oddly enough no, they are classified as lizards. there was a thread im embarrassed to say i remember from over a year ago where a player who had eaten a wizard cookie had intimidated genbu and was perplexed to how this happened. further confirmation came in from ninjas who prior to the introduction of the walahra turban, noted intimidation when wearing a panther mask. odd, but considering aspi's tortoise song wipes food, i'd be fascinated to see if a tank was willing to spam ginger cookies(all of 1.5k a stack) during the fight to up his intimidation rate, since food is otherwise worthless on that fight.Originally Posted by Callisto

if you genuinely intimidate aspi(and since you're not on my server, best of luck!), i want screenshots :D i've seen in person adamantoise and genbu, but never one of aspi, i think it'd be brilliant![]()
Also Notable: Courier Carrie can intimidate a Sandworm.
During a pickup Sandworm attempt, there was only one person who didn't die once, the Bst snarling hate to his Carrie, and that little crab tanked like a motherfucking CHAMP at times.
Saw her intimidate the worm a few times, and at one point a lvl 45 Bst ran up and started chucking wasps at the worm and kiting it, and HE intimidated it.
No way, I've never seen someone badass enough to kite worms. POIDH.Originally Posted by Max™
