Any smartish computer people have any explanation for why a PC would just refuse to recognize a FFXI disc? I finally found my discs to reinstall it on another PC in my house, and it wouldn't work. Then I borrowed a friend's disc, and it still wouldn't work.

Just keeps telling me there's no disc in the drive. For what its worth, I tried loading a different CD, and it recognized it.. Which leads me to believe its FF related >_>; But what do I know rly

there's a technical forum for a reason--and I don't browse it because I already provide tech support for 5-7 hours a day inbetween random html+php/c++/java

At what % accuracy do mobs start to con as low evasion?

Not sure the exact number, but I've conned mobs to have low evasion and parsed accuracy as low at 70-75ish%, but may have to take into account any evasion up tp moves.

shouldn't be, I ran parse long time ago since I had both from drg and ws avg was within +/- 3% of each of other and just used shadow for it regularly.

When Sa'ing as THF , when, exactly , is the game taking a reading on my DEX to determine bonus damage? Rephrasing: im making macros for SA wanna put in as much dex as feasible, does it need to be there before activation <prolly yes> does it need to be there till after i hit? .. any advice is hawt.

The DEX (or AGI on TA) is calculated as bonus damage the moment you hit. Furthermore, each point of DEX (or AGI on TA) is equal in impact to 1DMG on a weapon, so quite big.

1_If you toss a sea gorget, can you request same one again? I think it may work like fomor subligar and you only have 1 chance but not sure and i could not find any real info with search in forums. Also, can you get back ancient bestcoin items if you tossed them somehow? I didn't toss any but was talking about this on ls and could not find a real answer

2_A friend is close to getting relic gkt and he getting his gorgets, i'm sure breeze work after ruke test but since he tossed that(relied to 1st question) what other gorget works? He got thunder since it's fragmentation as well but would like some confirmations

I believe you can repurchase ABC items but not 100% sure. I still had the option to purchase Loq. Earring (which I already owned) from the menu when I bought musical.

Get a gorget again? Probably. Try to trade the items again and see if it accepts the trade but says 'you could not obtain the ************'. If it does, you can get it again if you toss it. And when you drop coins, no, you can't get them back. ... I don't even know why you'd think you might be able to.

It's based off the element in the primary block of the WS, with Kaiten's being.. just flat Light I think? If it's Light, yeah, wind/thunder/fire/light gorgets work, and if breeze worked, that means its at the least Fragmentation, which is Wind/Thunder, and yes, the thunder gorget would work too.

About Kaiten i read Ruke lj and found he tested and breeze work for sure while light does not work, since breeze work because of it's air element(being kaiten based on fragmentation i read) also thunder should work but i wanted some proof again if any relic sam tried it out.

given kaiten's spot on the SC chart I'd say both breeze/thunder should work, similar to flame/light for kasha, snow/aqua for gekko or etc.

While some of the crazier ones have been female, it seems to be evenly spread out. My main beef is this: [rant]I know maybe A(1; singular) 75 WHM who does not simultaneously bitch incessantly when being asked to come to something as WHM and throw a complete fucking shitfit if they are told that they aren't being considered first for any given WHM drop because they always bitch about having to play WHM. Why level the job to 75 if you hate it so much? Why tell LS' that you even have 75 WHM if you never, ever want to use it? And why give a fuck whether or not you get gear for a job that you never, ever want to play because you hate it so much?![/rant]

Lv. 56 is the lowest that an mob will still give EXP. Garlaige Beetles or Quicksand Caves Lizards seem to be the best for this.
