There are several outcomes to this:

1: The hormones clogging his pubescent brain will go away and he will get over this.
2: He goes out in the wild, last half a night, gets scared of the dark and comes home.
3: He goes out in the wild, goes missing, and is found days later blue, frozen solid, clutching his blanky he had as a kid while frozen tears are still on his face.

All are fine with me. Or option 5 he hurts someone and takes the cowards way out. If this becomes more apparent, then you should talk to someone like i said before. Its not worth the risk whether hes your friend or not.
