My guess is that Jacob = Future Jack.

When Jack asked the pilot if the Red Sox really won the world series... he didn't say which one... he could of been referring to the second time they won.

Alright...fucking finally. After about 2 weeks, I'm done binging through the series of lost, and am about to watch s04e03 right now (last Thurs. episode).

My thoughts from Lost so far:

1. John Locke is badass (on the island)
2. All the female characters are turds (Juliette's smirk makes me want to kill all the characters in Bambi...although she has nice eyes. Also, Rousseau/Alex are exceptions to female=turd rule)
3. Sayid is always right, therefore is a badass as well.
4. I wish Mr. Ecko would come back.
5. Goddamn the flashforwards are killing me. The Island is definately the most interesting character on the show.
6. Ever since Jack got taken by the Others, he's become annoying (mainly because he doesn't believe in Locke)
7. I died a little inside during the scene where Charlie drowns and Desmond is staring at him.
8. Desmond better not die. Desmond is awesome (by far, favorite character)
9. What the hell was Richard when Ben was a kid...and wasn't that the guy from Suddenly Susan?
10. Anyone else notice Mac when Kate/Sawyer/Alex go to save Carl?
11. That Naomi character was so freaking annoying. And so is Miles.
12. A part of me hopes that the monster is part-analyst, part-therapyst, full-on anal-rapist, and has a session of analrapy with Hugo. He's getting annoying.
13. All characters not named Desmond or John Locke are getting annoying.
14. I just found out the numbers = 108 if you add them up, and I feel stupid. Did we ever get full closure with the hatch, and it's "implosion?" I may have missed it, but it's like they skipped it altogether.
15. Why hasn't there been any more contact with the rest of the Others? Also, I wish we'd get some more details about all the voices they hear, and just some more information about these original inhabitants. We got a glimpse of it in Linus' flashback, but nothing more.

Off to watch 4-03 now.

Great site, I use it to download TV that I want to start watching within 20-30mins. The entire series is hosted on that site, via rapidshare links and the like, and if you know to reset your cookies, you can potentially just download them all very rapidly. The episodes from the first two seasons have 4 different hosting sites for each episode, it gets a little thinner into season 3, but still, wonderful site.

EDIT: I also wish they did a Rousseau episode. We've yet to hear her story in full: what exactly was the infection? And on that note, what was with the vaccination/the man Desmond replaced warning him of getting infected? The whole "Quarantine" strand, and again, what happened to Rousseau's people, and a deeper look at her relationship with the others (I find it interesting, looking back, that Rousseau captured Ben in the trap).

ABC has all of the episodes up on 720p.. I think you have to be from US though I am not so sure.

I know the producers reward the really hardcore Lost fans with easter eggs that most people wouldn't notice and all, but I think this is just too complicated. After a quick read it sorta makes sense, but I think it would piss a lot of people off if they had to take a college course on dark matter to understand whaddaheo happened after the show is finally over.

Cliffnotes from interview:
-By the end of Episode 7, we'll know who all 6 are.
-Elsa wearing the same bracelet has no meaning aside from making Sayid remember Naomi.
-The fast forwards are in Chronological order. So Sayid killed the golf course guy before Elsa.
-The conversation between Jack and Frank about the Red Socks winning was written before the Sox won their 2nd title.
-Episode 5 deals with Time Travel. They have a rule of no paradoxes.
-The person in the coffin will be revealed this season. !!!!
-The time delay scene with the rocket plays a very important role regarding the future of the show.
-There will be more about Jacob's Shack this season, but don't expect answers.
-The owner of the eyeball Hurley saw seems to be important.

-Miles Straum was named such since it would be cool to have him named "Maelstrom". (I agree, I didn't even notice that)
-Charlotte S. Lewis is in fact a reference to C.S. Lewis and plays an important clue to where the end of the season is headed. It's also a clue to her backstory.
-"Frank Lapidus, Helicopter Pilot" was a suggestion by a producer.
-Daniel Faraday is a reference to Michael Faraday (Scientist & Physicist).
-Minkowski is a reference to a Scientist/Physicist too it seems.
-The names are clues to space/time issues that will become more significant down the line.
-There are other people on the Freighter that have a name other than "Freighter Folk". These people on the ship make the 4 we've seen seem very folkish. (I imagine they're very violent)
-They get alot of their names through web searches on certain verbiage.

Based on that article, something that is probably more important than I originally thought is the role of Michael Abaddon (Guy who visited Hurley). It's already apparent he's important, but I didn't expect him to have this much potential:
