LOST Season 4

Loved the episode, like every other this season. It's funny when we look back at the story, we are so far from the "plane crash" in episode 1. I wonder if anyone guessed the show would take that path.


Faraday is awesome too. Dunno why people hated him when they first saw him, I always like that kind of nerdy physician.

This episode ripped so many f'n emotion out of me

I was amazed and somehow amazingly followed the whole story through without going WTF?

I understood the constant and the end was the f'n kicker of Farady looking through his journal

This episode rocked hard, Desmond really got me teary eyed with the penny phone conversation
Loved the cutting/finishing each others line..meant for each other


Goddammit I cant wait....I need more Lost NOWWWWWW!!!!!!

Like Faraday said: Something that exists in the time you are and the time you flash back to so you don't loose youself and die like that one dude did.

In simpler terms, I think it's so your mind/consciousness knows when to stop so you don't go too far ahead (?) in time. That's kinda how I see it at least.

I'm betting it was Ben's mole that opened the door and wrecked the communications room. As for who it is, there's high speculation (nothing confirmed) about someone who was seen in pictures taken while Freighter pics were being filmed.

Who that person is:
Michael. It was mentioned here before and would make sense. Ben probably sent Michael towards the freighter just to sabotage them since he knew all about them. Plus I don't think the boat they had would survive too well in rough seas.

Daniel & Frank scored big points this week though with their actions in my book. Charlotte seems like the worst one out of them all now. Miles not so much since he's there for his own gain. Wonder what Charlotte is there for though.

I think the enhanced version next week of this episode will be well worth watching.

Watching Penny and Desmond talk like that put a tear in my eye, warmed the heart, ect.

That editing sequence coupled with the music and their acting...lol, I cried. When they kept flickering back and forth between Desmond and Penny saying that they promise, and they love one another...my God...FUCKING EPIC. Glad I DVR'd the HD version, gonna watch it again.

What's the relation between Faraday's ability to see the future (when he was playing card last week), and Desmond being his constant? Did he fix himself doing all this stuff, or futur Faraday get messed up with present Faraday?


Also, I have some trouble to understand the "no paradox" rule. You can alter the past and change thing a little, but distant future wont be affected since everything will eventually go back to the way it was suposed to be? Hower, Faraday experiment did make it looks like they change the past. The dead mouse will never have the opportunity to learn its path. Faraday wouldnt have met Desmond in the past and wrote his name...etc

Did anyone else notice that Faraday told Desmond the number 2.342 and then at the auction for the Black Rock journal, it was listed under lot 2342? Also consider, 4 8 15 16 23 42
p.s. I also think that Ben's "Friend" on the boat is none other than....dun dun dun...MICHAEL! Remember when Michael left the island with Walt, Ben gave him a specific bearing to follow, probably the exact same bearing that Faraday gave the helicopter pilot to get back to the freighter.

I thought it was corny. Would have done without the flickering.

And yeah, I noticed the number being the same. I wonder what's the meaning of it. Probably just some sort of constant that determine the flow of time or something.

Yeah, I mean seeing it only from desmond's side would have provoked the same feeling of intensity

But seriously, how would they have done that (and shown the same intensity/emotion) without flicking back and forth? Lost doesn't believe in 24 style storytelling so they wouldn't have 2 things going on at the same time in different window panes .

Did anyone else notice Ben in the auction scene? I wouldn't have except that as soon as my brother heard Black Rock he guessed that Ben was gonna be in the scene, so I was looking for him. When its showing the audience from the auctioneer's POV, he's in the very back row on the left side. I was really confused at the time cuz I had no idea what the Black Rock was until my brother explained it to me.

I don't think it is Ben though as it hardly looks like him imo. However, I do think that Ben has/will be/currently is time traveling. When Miles says he knows what kind of person Ben is and what he can do, I think Ben can influence the future somehow or knows how to make the time traveling element work for him.

Make time travelling look too simple. Kinda hard to understand his schema, only thing you can get from it is that every events are connected with an imaginary space and time, but that alone doesn't mean much and doesn't explain how paradox are solved by the universe.


I'm almost certain Lost's universe fix thing to be the way they were suposed to be, because this show as always been about determinisn. I can already see people fighting against their fate the way Charlie did in season 3, except this time, it's going to be something bigger. End of the world maybe?

Lost makes every other show boring...this is sad. Every time I watched Heroes last season, I usually ended up thinking how "lost would have made it better". It spoiled me.
