The characters of Sun (played by Yunjin Kim) and Jin Kwon (Daniel Dae Kim) are featured in the episode's off-island storyline.[2] The actors of Lost have called the "Ji Yeon" the most shocking of the first seven episodes.[3] The episode was filmed in late October and early November of 2007.[4] Zoë Bell has a role that included some stunt work.[5] In the episode, Juliet is forced to reveal some startling news to Jin when Sun threatens to move to Locke’s camp. Meanwhile, Sayid and Desmond begin to get an idea of the freighter crew’s mission when they meet the ship’s Captain

Imo, Jin and Sun episode sucked because they were never linked to the big picture. However, we all know it will change eventually, and it will be for the best.

I'll do a lot for Lost, like give them my first born (after birth or still in my testicles floating around somewhere), but I wouldn't play the role of a terrorist. Fuck that.

-Hell, one of the underlying reasons I love Lost, outside the writing, acting, story, etc., is because Sayid (despite being a torturer for the Republican Guard) is a REAL character, he's not just some stereotypical "ay-rab terrorism mawslim." I stopped watching 24 in like season 2 because they had that whole "Muslim = terrorist" shit. Worse than blatant racism is when they try to mask it with cheesy feel-good stuff like the wife who's like "ohnoes my husband is a terrorist but i side with democracy and the American way!" Lost has done a fantastic job not only showing Sayid as a person, but fighting against the stereotypical arab=terrorist concoction unfortunately prevalent in some Western societies. Long Live Lost.

Agreed. Same with the show NCIS, especially after the israeli chick joined the team force, it just became a show about fighting them dirty arab terrorists. Got very old very fast .

One of my best friends is Palestinian (but U.S. born, so no accent or anything), and when I first met him I thought he was more of Latin descent. So some of you got that goin for ya I guess.

Man how did I not discover this before the season started?!? My ls is full of a buncha prison break fags so I don't get to expand on any ideas with them =(. I totally dug desmond's epi last week, I'm totally convinced whitmore sr. put desmond on the island. I think he is the economist too. I didn't read through all 16 pages of the thread, but what do you think about how they are going to explain the plane wreckage found? That's a point that they really kinda grazed over. And I can't wait for michael to come back, that's gonna be some good stuff.

Instead of posting a new topic about it, I just thought I'd talk about the new LOST game, Via Domus. My girl & I went to CVS to pick her up some cough medicine at about midnight (past our bedtime). We saw an ad for Toys-R-Us that said they had the LOST game in. Us being unaware of it's release already (I thought it'd be later in the month), we rushed to Wally-world, picked it up, and I played it for a couple hours.

Very disappointing so far. The dialogue is forced, and the characters whose voices are mounted by voice actors, instead of the original actors, seem very badly done. Especially Hurley's. Oh well. It's a damn beautiful game, as far as scenery goes. But this story arc is kind of lame, even though it was guided by the producers of LOST. And I'm just barely into the game, just uncovered my camera, which is apparently your awesome tool for this game (uh, and how exactly am I supposed to recharge my batteries? Is it a digital camera even? I don't think so), I've already met Ben & Juliette.

Well, I guess it's to be expected. Much QQ though.

Ironically, I just finished my Via Domus download last night, and was planning on trying it out today. I read some reviews beforehand though, and I'm honestly not expecting too much out of it. The potential for a game from Lost is off the charts, but apparently this was in development hell for a long time and has been postponed/restarted many times.

Meh, it gives me something to do for about 5-6 hours. =)

Video games based on movies/shows make me cry

Either way $30 bucks isn't so bad for it, might pick it up for PC.

Some small spoilers/hints have been given for this next episode, and they seem pretty interesting. Not really "omg" like the Desmond episode, but still interesting. Something that happened earlier this season will make sense with this episode too.

The episode will be Juliet-centric.

Another thing sorta touched on (possibly a stretch) is who's in the coffin. If it's who I think it is now, I don't think anyone expected it. I'll put my guess below in small text.

I think it's Jin. Latest rumour is that Jin & Sun are the last of the Oceanic 6. And 1 of the Oceanic 6 dies in a Flash Forward (off the island) and it's highly likely that it's one of those 2. Since the Obit was a male name and the coffin was about Jin's size, I think it's highly likely it's him. It's not Jack or Kate, doubt it's Hurley. Sayid is a rare chance, but the scene with the coffin has been confirmed to be after the Sayid FF. This also confirms Aaron, Ben and Desmond (if he gets off the island) are not part of the Oceanic 6.
