The soonest I usually get to see the episodes is when they go up on ABC.com (usually the day after). People will most likely post here right after the episode airs on East Coast time. So it's either completely avoid this thread until I have time to actually sit and watch the entire episode, or read the spoilers and be able to talk about things that are brought up. Plus reading the episode descriptions makes me want to see them more. And I also know what's going on so I can look for subtle hints to the Island and not worry about missing small details of what's going on in the current episode.

To me it's no different than reading a book before watching the movie.

Don't worry though, I won't post any spoilers unless they're well marked so those who don't want to see them can avoid them.

I remember being on a Lost forum last year and apparently someone had leaked every detail of the season finale before it aired. Looking back after the finale, I remember thinking WTF are these peoples problems? Why would you want to spoil as something as epic as Through The Looking Glass? I remember feeling mind raped when Kate came up... to find out it was in the future. Who would want to ruin that moment? It is no fun at all when you know everything that is going to happen, spoilers are what keep me away from any kind of Lost forum nowadays.

Anyway.. Holy shit in less than 11 hours Lost is back. Grabbing a few brews some pizza with some friends and going to enjoy this night. God knows I've been waiting for it forever.

Hurley said he didn't know Anna Lucia...and the way the cop asked about meeting her before the plane took off it seems like the survivors didn't tell the truth about the island when they got back.

Doesn't necessarily mean that everybody else died, they might have chose to stay on the island. Despite what has happened the last couple episodes of Season 3, didn't Rose & Bernard say they would stay in an earlier episode for example? In case leaving the island would bring back her cancer?

I don't doubt it, a lot of the stuff that happened, who would believe it. They probably also didn't want to make it public about how many other survivors they killed.

How'd the other guy see Charlie if he was imaginary? Whaaaaaaat the hell. I wish this episode really was 2 hours like everyone thought it was going to be instead of a 1 hour recap and 1 new episode.

Been waiting for this since the season finale of 3 and to only be given 8 episodes after almost a fucking year. It's complete bullshit, fuck the writers strike.

A huge prediction of mine since around the time he was first brought up... Christian Shephard is Jacob. The fact that it shows him in what looks to be Jacob's cabin, that he's linked to so many characters off the island, that Jack didn't find his body in his coffin, and finally during the finale a few references to him being alive were made. (In the pharmacy, the lady was going to call him as if he was living, the argument with the new chief of medicine) All just really make me think it's him. What better character anyway?

When they showed Hurley looking in Jacob's house, I swear that looked like Christian Shepard in the chair.

Was too quick for me to see. If anyone finds them screenshot all fixed up post it, id like to see. All in all, really good episode. Many more questions added to the plethora we all already have.
