The "true" 6-hit build is based off of SAM weaponskills which are 1-hit only so it counts as a hit. You only go from 0-100 the very first time you engage. After that your "true" 6hit build is useless if you use a multi-hit WS.

I agree, that's just what people generally mean when they say 6 hit, however yes, after a guillotine both perdu and a 513 delay scythe take 5 hits to get to 100 tp.
If you can land 3 hits of Guillotine with the perdu, you only need 20 sTP full time (15 from /sam and 5 from rajas)
Base TP = 13.6.
TP hits:
(13.6*1.20)*5 = 81.5 TP
First hit of WS:
13.6*1.20 = 16.3
81.5+16.3=97.8TP.
TP from 3 extra hits takes you over 100TP.
If you can only land 2 hits of guillotine then you will need 22sTP.
If you can only land 1 hit of guillotine then you will need 23sTP.
I have both Naglering and Perdusickle, both are 501 delay, I use both and I know that +23STP is needed for a full 6-hit build, Guillo or not.
True 5 hits with Tred is what I aimed for.

Rose Strap, +4STP 3% Haste Champion's, Aurum, Ecphoria
Ecphoria will be swapped out after 1st WS and pizza will cover all accuracy I ever need.
Noperefer to Argettio's post. You can 6hit a Perdu with just 21, just have to land 3+ hits of Guillotine. Naglering you need 23 because you don't get those extra WS hits.
Perdu can't 5-hit as easily as other scythes can now, forget it.
You need high accuracy to make that 5hit build even worth it and you still take a DoT hit. It's very situational.
Oh really?
Only sacrificing body and food, and easily swap Toreador's for Ecphoria if starting from 0%.
How does Moli Sickle+Ring combo stack up in all this?
Vs Perdu by delay alone you are sacrificing 5.2% DoT/WS frequency. Pole Strap is another 1.9% DoT/WS frequency and WS damage. 10acc + another 5accuracy and you're sacrificing another ~8.5% DoT/WS frequency. Even before factoring in superior food options etc, you're giving up a fair chunk of stats for your 25% WS frequency. Also consider what you have to WS in!

And not to mention you can't use this on bird, which is about the only place where your accuracy would still be fine. Anything harder you would have accuracy problem and this won't be worth it.
As for Tred. vs Perdu, my calculator always suggest Perdu by a fairly large margin. Then again, paper math is under perfect condition with no human error. In addition to that, the occasional 7 hit (when you miss 2 hit guillotine) can hurt a bit as well. Tho IMO, Perdu definitely beat Tred. when you fight harder mob, every bit of acc count.
As far as Moli, I think there are two schools of ppl on this. Those who hate it and those who love it. IMO, again, paper math which I rely on alot when I have gear question against certain mobs, Moli definitely top Perdu and tred. in merit bird. However, as the mob gets harder, acc again becomes important and Perdu will win out eventually. Moli definitely has its place. I own both perdu and moli and personally I use moli on easy stuff and perdu on harder stuff and Nag 6 hit on hard hard stuff.
Edit: Side note, the reason I depend on paper math so much is that I don't believe in parsing against yourself. Since when can you find the exact condition everytime. Alot of things are random in this game, and even with 95% acc you can run into situation where you miss 5 straight. And one of those streaks can ruin a parse result.. the law of average will probably do your justice the next time you parse, but then the situation would be different yet again. That's why I only look at parse result with certain things but not using it to see which gear is better.
Well, my main reservation against Moli is that STR doesn't do -that- much for DRK damage due to high base damage and stuff... if I'm really fighting easy enough stuff that I don't need Perdu's extra accuracy... why not trade it in for a Blitz Ring?
Blitz Ring on its own should put Perdu back over the top again in my opinion... the only time I think Perdu would definitively lose to Moli is if you have to hold TP which is obviously very bad for poor Perdu.
I don't like this thread because I posted a very ignorant comment on the first page 1.5 years ago.![]()
My understanding of mechanics was so much weaker too!
