I'll be there March 15th, regardless of weather. This shit's on my calendar!

Best part is IMDB takes out the 1 and 10 votes when they do an average rating. So voting 1 that many times does nothing.
Got a source for that? Can't find anything on Google indicating this.Originally Posted by Anyway
That IMDB thing is purely retarded, the kind of shit I was afraid that 4channers would end up doing before I was pleasantly surprised how civilly this went (for the most part.)
Don't do the IMDB thing.
I've been following this right from the start, and little actions like this help get media attention, a lot. I doubt the protests / focus on tax exemption would have kicked off at all if it wasn't for the initial response with the DDOS attacks/google bomb. It's all that the media were talking about initially, "hackers verses scientology" makes a good title and gets non-anon people interested. It may be an incorrect representation of anon, but people will learn the details afterwards.Originally Posted by Maxxthepenguin
Even if it didn't doesn't help get more media attention, it's fun + their's no reason not to, their is nothing to lose except a few minutes of your time.
You're voting down a movie just because one actor in it is a scientologist.
Yeah, real productive.
And btw, to a lot of people having a title like "hackers vs scientology" is sympathetic towards scientology.
Not at all. In fact it's quite the opposite, most are either slightly critical of Co$ (but not too critical) or give a fairly unbiased report for both sides. And btw, to a lot of people having a title like "hackers vs scientology" is sympathetic towards scientology.

That contains most of the links to media archives.
Edit: BTW, the Imdb thing is really just a small thing I added in for fun, the main thing is writing letters to senators to get Tax exemption removed. Not really any point to arguing over it.
the 3/15/08 protest seems to have less hype going into it than the last one, but i'm still eager to see if anon will get more attention this go around
because smash bros comes out 5 days priorOriginally Posted by HAcoreRD

Actually, looks like there's the same amount of devotion similar to the last one. Here I know the most activity was during the last week prior to the event occurring than the whole amount of time between the announcement and that time.
I don't entirely get how you get "preparation time" as less hype but ok.
Simple answer: Bring a tv + a wii and ask the business or w/e you're protesting in front of to plug it in.Originally Posted by Not Kuno
And have the rules being everyone plays Cpt. Falcon and can only use his B move.Originally Posted by Maxxthepenguin

Really hoping they do play Yakety Sax though, as that'll be fucking hilarious. Anyways, I've been wondering one thing. Is there any specific reason why they're doing it on Hubbard's b-day besides the fact that it's his b-day?
It's also the ides of march.Originally Posted by Kaisha
Can the crowd sing "Happy Birthday", or play Master shake's Happy birthday song, then rickroll it?
Well, I just went to my first class after spring break and found out that I have to be at school on March 15 now because they pushed focus groups back a week. I'm really disappointed that I won't be able to go to the Seattle protest. GAH!

IMO you should ditch and protest with the masses.
I quit and my character is on another server now... lolOriginally Posted by Koga

Sure I'll pass this idea on to the leaders of Anonymous and see what I can do.Originally Posted by HAcoreRD
