The bolded part is what would actually make Scientology win in court. If they can prove that Anon is NOT assembling peacefully, with an intent to do harm, they can win. That is the most likely going to be the view they try to imprint to the court. That and $$$

anon had many video cameras there for a reason, point the court to youtube.

On another site, someone said that a person came to their door, saying they were from the local Sheriff's office, and handed them a letter and a DVD. The letter looked like a court summons, however, it was just a note talking about Anon, and looked fucking professional. The DVD was labelled "Anonymous Hate Crimes." On the video it contained the YouTube video that had a bomb threat against the CoS, supposedly by Anon, but was flagged and reported to the FBI by Anon.

Here is the big part.

The footage of the "YouTube" video was in high res and in widescreen format.

What does that mean? They have the source of the original footage, since YouTube converts the video files native format into .flv format, and if they took it off YouTube, there would be compression artifacts all over it.

mmmm i'm having 2nd thoughts now about the screencap. It kind of looks to me like they bloated out a low res image then blurred out the pixelation. Then added in a blue border to cancel out the jagged edges on the world... but kinda hard to tell cause the top one has the camera at a closer view.

Any photoshop/video editing experts over here care to comment?

Just got back from the protest in Atlanta. We had about 150 people show up until I left. We had the riot police come out again and line up on the other side of the street. They were there last time and didn't interfere with anything. But this time they took a different tactic. There is a noise violation in the county so we tried not to bring any "Honk if you ______ Scientology". There was one though and cars started to honk. So the police lined up with motorcycles and began to pull over/ticket any car that honked. Even after we took down the Honk signs they pulled over anyone that even honked a bit or slowed down to a stop to talk.

Also, we had a bullhorn and we had two people use it to chant/read the global speech. About 5 minutes after they ended the global speech the riot police started to move and march across the street. They grabbed a hold of the two men using the bull horn and took them across the street to the Scientology building/police area. Not sure if they were arrested, detained, or just removed from the premises.

Overall it was great success aside from all the tickets written. Plenty of delicious cake, signs, and chants to keep the crowd going.

300? maybe at L.A. - they had a huge counter-programming video/blasting music and white tarps 10' up surrounding the compound (and the 3 adjacent streets that weren't Sunset blocked off by police).

If they try to do anything to you record everything. If they do what they did to the guys in the vid and give out your name you can sue them for libel and stuff.
