Just got back from the protest in Atlanta. We had about 150 people show up until I left. We had the riot police come out again and line up on the other side of the street. They were there last time and didn't interfere with anything. But this time they took a different tactic. There is a noise violation in the county so we tried not to bring any "Honk if you ______ Scientology". There was one though and cars started to honk. So the police lined up with motorcycles and began to pull over/ticket any car that honked. Even after we took down the Honk signs they pulled over anyone that even honked a bit or slowed down to a stop to talk.

Also, we had a bullhorn and we had two people use it to chant/read the global speech. About 5 minutes after they ended the global speech the riot police started to move and march across the street. They grabbed a hold of the two men using the bull horn and took them across the street to the Scientology building/police area. Not sure if they were arrested, detained, or just removed from the premises.

Overall it was great success aside from all the tickets written. Plenty of delicious cake, signs, and chants to keep the crowd going.

The one in Philadelphia was a lot of fun. We had a bunch of people in the back of a Uhaul, and played Party Hard while unloading everyone. That happened by the actual church.

Apparently the CoS bought a new building in Philly, where the majority of the protest took place. It was really funny because they had one guy who was completely obvious recording us the whole time. I didn't get a whole lot of pics because my gf handed me her camera with almost dead batteries, but I'll upload the ones I got when I can.

The last quote states a 60 second clause, which is weird, because the honks seemed to be brief. Anywho, there's video of the Feb raids in the same location with cars doing the same thing with no citations issued. Selective enforcement of laws?

I was at the Hollywood protest today. Did anybody else notice that fat man with the white beard? Apparently, what I hear is that he is a private investigator hired by CoS to "keep an eye" on those of us who were there ot protest. He had a gun. As soon as one of the anonymous picketers saw it, he whipped up a quick "This man has a gun ->" sign and followed him around until the police noticed and pulled the PI away. Then he went back into the church and we didn't see him anymore today.

Atlanta was fined for not having a permit? Are you sure? I saw on Enturb that they double checked to make sure they didn't need one.

And yeah on enturb they spoke to a guy (think his name was Jay Smith offhand) who said a permit wasn't necessary, but the police on the street said he was the wrong guy to speak to about it.
