I can't believe big media outlets can't pin point where Anonymous comes from. If they had said ebaumsworld I would of LOL pretty damn hard.
They might not want to drive traffic to a terrorist web site, what with the exploding vans and all.Originally Posted by BRP

Uhh, lol? Major news networks generally don't mention sites like 4chan, because they are responsible for what they air, and don't want to be construed as advertising that type of content.Originally Posted by BRP

Is it just me or does Lord Xenu use Kirin's Osode?
This Anon vs. Scientology thing is pretty hilarious. I live about 2 blocks from a Scientology building in Austin, Texas (the one like across the street from UT campus). My friends and I sometimes act like we're reading the signs and propaganda and look interested (acting skills OT7 Tom Cruise would be proud of). The lady at the front desk or other people in there (that can see the outside because of clear walls) will sometimes like literally run out to try to brainwash us into taking a "personality test", which is when we make a break for it.
food for thought. Was thinking about what fascinated me so much about this and then I realized. My uncle is the kind of guy that still goes to protest infront of washington dc for various things. He's always complained about how today's youth don't try and fight/protest for what they think is right. And now it's actually happening.
Granted Scientology is probably by far the worst thing in the world atm. But it is great imo to see today's youth fighting against something. Versus just whining and mocking on a forum, they are actually doing something about it. The motive itself is probably not the best, though I think while many are doing it for fun, I am sure many are enjoying standing up against an organization. I think internet wars are the new picketing signs. Channers and supporters are the new hippies fighting for freedom (freedp, of internet speech now, free love then).
Probably crazy ramblings on my part but I say more power to anyone who actually does something about what they think is wrong, this country needs more people like that.
