I too have also been working on recording all of the CS's in FF11. In fact, it was after I had quit I realised I couldnt watch any of them again so I originally came back to record them for my own viewing. Then got hooked on the addiction of the game all over again ;x.

After seeing that many others have already uploaded CS's and in fact there is a sticky here already for that, I thought there wouldnt be much point in uploading my videos. However, I promised certain friends, some who have already quit, that I would show my work in the end.

As you may see, I have fully subtitled all CS's as well as added extra scenes to make things flow. I have also managed to do something vastly different to what we are used to and turned it into a cartoon. I say cartoon as it does look more like an old 70s/80s western animation as opposed to a japanese anime. You will see what I mean when you get to watch it.

I've experienced internet difficulties this weekend -_- so I will upload the first video within the next few days or so. In the meantime, I decided to give Dynamis Bastok a miss tonight and dread to think that my LS would have probably wiped a dozen times without me but lol I spent my time making some box art for you as well as some sample screenshots to have a preview of the style and subtitles =) see below

I have been made aware that the video does not work on some of my LS buddies PC's ... so I am working on sorting that out and also to make a DVD file. If anyone has suggestions as to where I can upload it to, please say, I will try otherwise to compress the video further so it obeys filefront.com limits.

Its a hell of a task to do this, and I work full time, so one video a month is the most realistic timetable i can give right now , but looking at cutting down some ingame stuff to do this too. Spent a year on this already but only half way lol.

/shocked, I'm surprised at the negative comments. Perhaps the word "cartoon" threw you all off, thats just the first word that popped into my head. By all means I am only an amateur at Adobe programs and I dont hold myself out as being skilled in them, I just thought people might like the alternative look that the filter has given but if not /shrug. Personally i liked watching old animations and compared it to them. And by the amount of anime that gets referenced on these forums I would have thought others might like it. On that basis I dont think theres any reason for people to be rude.

The people I actually made this for like it and I'l upload it for you guys anyway. I cant remove the S/R icon now, its too late to remove it lol. I'd have to crop the screen even more. You can trust me when I say it is barely noticeable, its like a logo you see when you watch the news or sport, you dont really pay attention to it concentrate on the main sections of the screen.

i'm still quite interested to hear what else Alleya has to say.

Poster edges is uuuuugly, seriously I'd rather just have the plain cutscene than a ton of black shit all over it. And yeah, it's not a cartoon adaptation if you didn't draw anything and just slapped a filter on it. The SS from the cutscene with Monberaux isn't too bad, it does look kind of nice with the filter, but the "DVD cover"? Yeugh, way over the top and just ugly.

I don't know if you're using VirtualDub to encode/edit your videos, if you do there's a bunch of plug-ins that remove logos in a more or less acceptable manner. I have to admit that it's been ages since I last used both VD and those plug-ins so I'm not really up to date on which one is the best at the moment.

When in doubt you can just google up using keywords like "virtual dub logo filter".
