Duo Temperence

I'm pretty sure Wopa has a blog entry where they did Prudence with 8, and said like the WHM was just there for R3, 1 THF for TH only or something. Was basically a bunch of RDM/NINs, nuking/staying alive, while one or two kited the other goldfish? I can't seem to find the link to his blog atm tho ._. But I can imagine say 6x RDM/NIN being able to pull it off, properly geared, and skilled.

BLM/NINs on the first fish - kiting around the bush. RDM/NIN on second fish. If you can take a fish to a spot where you can abuse terrain and mob AI the prudence fish can be held solo indefinitely. One such spot is the rock south of the pop area.

Its nice to see that there is no need for a huge amount of people to get a lot of the SEA jailers done. This is definitely going to help out getting the LS full swing into SEA.

I'm sure it has been tried, but Jailer of Temperance is immune to all forms of stun.

Secondly is he guaranteed to spawn from one of the 5 points if they are all killed at the same time?

his lot is completely random we tried popping him for 5 hours one night and got jack shit.. and no one had been in there after him that day. so his spawn from one of the five towers could be first kill or 10hrs+

Interesting how much of a pain it is to farm Temperance en mass compared to Fort/Faith. Best thing I can think of really is just starting your days in Sea by trying to pop him when window is most likely open before moving on to other NMs. Anyone have other suggestions for getting a number of these quickly?

AKA last night haha. We've been cruising in most other areas of Sea lately, but Temperance seems to be cashing in on his vacation days a lot, so it's holding up a number of JoL sets. Gonna have to try that Rdmx2 duo strat with ya Kele ^^

As far as I know, Temperance is almost always up, 15 minutes after the prior kill, at one of the five towers. I'm pretty sure i've read here where people have killed all 5 tower's Temp PH @ the same time to basically force pop him. I have very little experience with killing all 5 towers @ once (or in this case, within 15 minutes of each other, 15 minutes after we killed a previous temp), and he has almost always popped for me in this manner. I'd go so far as to say that if you killed only 4 towers at once, and repeat every 15 minutes, you should for sure have at LEAST one Temperance pop in that time spawn, if not 2.

We found contrary to that last night :\

After one kill for example, we went a good 90mins without seeing another before calling it a night. We weren't killing 5 PHs at the same time, but pretty close: Had ally split into 2 groups: one group taking PHs @ N and NW towers (Hume,Mithra) and the other group taking NE and SW (Elvaan and TT) with a solo RDM killing the PH @ Galka. So essentially we were killing 3 at a time, with the remaining 2 being killed within 5-10mins max. We repeated this every 15mins when the Zdei's respawned, and Temp no-showed us 90mins straight. Perhaps if we killed all 5 approx same time that would force him, but I'm inclined to think otherwise from what I saw~ gonna have to try taking all 5 at once and test it.

I'd say from what you said, i'd be inclined to believe otherwise as well. I'd say well over 80% of the time killing 4 towers at once, it's rarely every taken more than 60 minutes to pop Temperance, to be honest, usually 30 minutes tops, once the first set is dead :/ If it's a lotto off one of the 5 towers, the chances have to be fairly high, because i've witnessed this type of pop enough times personally to think there's something to it.

Went out to Sea a few times in the past week trying to pop Temperance with no luck. Finally got it to pop today and duo'd with 2 rdm/nin using the strategy posted in this thread and it was extremely easy. Took about 1 1/2 hr, or maybe a little less. I uploaded a video of 5 minutes of the fight if anyone wants to see:

You see 5 minutes, you see it all pretty much, was pretty boring lol. Only thing we did that you don't see in that video is gravity kite when it 2 hr'd. Was pretty funny how we could just bounce hate with barspells and it wouldn't hit us though, lol.
