Most bitching NMs!! Which one annoy you most?

I actually like this NM. With a basic fire resist set up his specials aren't that bad and his normal attacks are pretty weak. I usually do campaigns as War/whm, when ever I see warmachine coming I just swap some gear and barfira. Think that puts me around 110 fire resist. I love getting in there and watching all the other bodies just pile up around me.

I do the same as PLD/RDM, it's fun as hell watching 8-9 bodies going down after a Blastbomb

Most hated? I usually stick to Sandy Battles and they don't seem that bad... maybe One-eyed Gwajboj and his Battledance spam when weakened ~.~

I haven't done much outside of Jugner Forest. But from the ones that show up there, I hate the damn Warmachine the most. It's always fun seeing the pile of dead bodies arranged in a nice neat circle around where he last did his AoE move.

Jugner is basically where I stay, so Warmachine is my most hated NM. Even as a low RDM (>70) I can melee all other NMs just fine -- even taking hate now and then. Warmachine = death, sooner rather than later.

I find Softstep fun when there are only a few people on him. The problem comes when 5 people get on him, then 5 more decide to follow suit. Was doing pretty well fighting him w/ me, another RDM and a random DD, but the other RDM was taking too much damage and he died. Stupid spamage.

Bitches don't know about my Jagidbod's Warmachine. He's actually one of the coolest. You know you are fucked when he rolls through, you can really only say that about a handful of Campaign NMs to date. Kinda proud that I solo'd off about 10% HP off of him (on my latest encounter with him) before I took an epic Fountain to the face and watched the NPCs run in.

But they're oh-so susceptible to enfeebles.

I love the fact not only I can paralyze and slow the NMs, I can gravity* them. OH THE JOY!

Works on most of them, though they do build resistance after a while (as you would expect). The demon NM is rough, though. He moves faster than most under Gravity, and Bind has trouble staying on him too.

I like Jagidbod's Warmachine, he leaves a pile of people for me to raise >.> With Shell IV, stoneskin and barfire, his blastbombs really don't hurt at all. Burst and Fountain, on the other hand, are not good.

One-eyed Gwajboj, Steelbiter Gudrud and Alpha Gnole Anders (if he doesn't spam Plenilune Embrace) can all be soloed by a RDM/BLU. I avoid Deathlord Rojnoj because of his 1000 - 1200+ slam dunks, and Conqueror Mickeymouse.

softep isnt too bad if whoever tanking him doesnt die, can melee him fine without getting hit at all if you stand at right spot(45 degree angle or so from his face) but might only work when theres room so that staggershell ore lobs the target from the back and softep from the front.

Is it just the fact that I normally go to Campaign as a sissy BRD, or are the NMs not susceptible to WS stun? Flat Blade does just fine against the swarms of minions, but I never see the stun wear off on NMs, so either someone has already stunned it (every time), or it never procs.

Staggershells appear at really random angles, and even standing 90 degrees to the side of Softsteps face won't keep you from getting nailed.

Plus, it's a conal attack, so if you're just a little behind Go'Dha you're probably gonna get nailed.

If I remember correctly, the only NMs found outside of Sandworm were for quests. I don't recall seeing any NMs in Pashow [S]'s mob listing, but I'll check again after I'm done eating >.>

There are really no items in the dats to support any other possible NMs. Hell, personally, I think adding ol' Shai Hulud (at least get the movie Dune, it's fucking awsome) was a fuck up on their part since he has never dropped anything, and if he did, there's nothing it could be made into yet.

Mostly though, I just plain hate the orc NMs. They've all got little kinks that just piss me off;

Every 100 POPS (not kills, if he despawns, it counts as a pop) it drops a Ridill.
