Well the turtle popped so at that point I would stop skilling up and get TP with a real weapon, like a GK in the case of this SAM.

Yeah, but you're going to have more Str than Int generally.

It's like me as a taru war for Steel Cyclone, I use Kabuto right now, but if I got Nhead, the Kabuto would be relegated to War/Dnc curing macros.

71 base Str +11 Str @ 50% mod (before fStr/Attack bonuses)
63 base Vit +15 Vit @ 50% mod only

That's the thing to remember about WS mods, Str basically counts twice before even being factored as a WS mod itself directly. fStr+Attack+WS Mods.

I'd use Kabuto over anything with less than 5 Str, or in the case of Askar head, 4 Str and 4 Vit.

With the Int mod, I'd guess you'd need something like 10+ Int in the slot to outweigh the benefits of 5 Str by itself. Nevermind having gobs of attack on Onyx, or the +DA on Are's.

If he wasn't needed for an SC (There is kind of a limit with how much you can SC and BLMs need MP too ), I'd see no problem with storing and just using Spirits.

Ok. First off, we have a WAR71/SAM30. Hi, level your sub. Oh wait, NQ 36 STR rings? Pallas's Bracelets? Where the FUCK did you get a swift belt? Coral Earrings.

Number 2. Not horrid. But eh, if you can get Shura Body, you can do better than a Venerer Ring. RSE2 feet (Taru or Hume, person in question was Taru) > Melee Gaiters. RSE2 hands? Mee Deggi is free, come on. No ranged? Bleh.

Number 3 is my favorite. Moon Amulet? Right. Enhancing Earring (I think thats what it is, MP+5 POS). Easter Egg, Staff Strap, AF feet (This guy is a hume), NQ 36 INT and DEX rings. Phantom earring is fine. That is NOT a penitent's rope. That IS an NQ black cape. That thing IS somehow wearing a vermy. I died a little when I saw this guy.

What's worse? I took these 3 shots within 5 minutes of each other.

Ok no offense to you at all but I don't ever give a shit what gear I wear in Campaign battles when I need to get XP. I guarantee from the looks of the WAR is that he is working on points in his GA and just wants the Hasso boost to speed things up a little. The MNK isn't the worst thing in the world and hell if he is tanking, those boots + Counterstance might save his life. Not saying he is of course but it is always a possibility. The BLM of course has a ton of better options for a better neck piece but I know a lot of people that have gimped BLM till they get a majority of their best gear 70+. Not saying its good to do but it's fucking Campaign, since when does everyone need l33t gear to do it.

You don't. But when you're seeking party, what are you going to do when you join? Throw on the good stuff? I mean come on, you don't go fetch your shitty gear to campaign in and swap it out when you get a party. For the WAR and BLM, thats clearly fulltime gear.
