It's not so much a bad piece, but there are just so many other better pieces for /nin to use. In their defense, as much as they were blood tanking khim it's a good thing they were geared up like that.

65 HP isn't bad.. but yea other shit is better such as Valor or Ares's Cuirass.

Team Gallant is better in most situations. VIT is worthless and if you're consistently below 60HP you either need better support or moar skillz.

What worries me about the other guy is AF1 hands and legs, and both of them have a total lack of haste gear. At first I thought they didn't have sea due to no Homam but the one guy has DM/AN earrings...

Duckn used to be one of the best linkshells across all servers. I think they were the second LS anywhere to beat Vrtra, they helped on the first AV kill where he was actually tanked, they killed Fafnir with a single party after rage timer was introduced, etc. I'm not sure what to make of some of them these days. Sometimes they give off the very distinct impression that it's like 5 guys multiboxing 15 accounts.

The gear they are wearing has very little to do with ra/ex and alot to do with knowing nothing of the job.

I'm gonna call bullshit on that one, I've seen you folks rag on people that had decent AH setups and just missing some ra/ex stuff.
(I don't think it was in the gimp thread, but it was on BG)

In these specific instances, yes, you are correct. But that's definitely not the reason for the most part from what I can see.
