The gimp/confused /wtf player thread: II

Well, to be fair... outside of relic gloves (might be hard to get) and Nashira Gages (again, might be hard to get), there isn't really much else for a SMN in the hands slot. Could maybe count Austere Cuffs, but the extra 2 skill on those isn't going to do a whole lot. However, relic head before relic hands makes me sad (took me 3 years to get my horn).

Although, I would question the relic legs. All those are good for is the -BP timer. AF legs for everything else. I wouldn't call them a gimp or wtf SMN, though.

This is gonna sound bad but imo the WAR is gimper. I die a little inside every time I see a WAR in an SH and not a Haub.

Caught this guy fighting Cerb a couple of days ago, didn't catch any gear swaps at all when he was meleeing. At this point it was close to 25% so he probably pulled back so he could stun in his Hecatomb

lol I did the same thing. Mid-post I checked the PUPs level so I didn't look like a huge tool.

The errant body was for resting, he was using Relic Body for non-resting. And AF2 feet are nice full time if you don't have AF+1 Feet. If you have +1 feet then relic feet need to be BP only. It wasn't really a knock on the AF2 feet. The AF2 feet are an awesome piece. The "confused" part would be the +1 hands and NOT the feet.

But to have +1 hands before +1 feet....makes my head hurt. Although even taking the time to make +1 hands if you had the other 4 pieces would make my head hurt.

Oh, and his first 2 BPs on Khim? Nether Blast and Aero II. He then sent a tell to one of our LSs SMNs to ask advice on how to fight Khim.

His gear isn't bad for a job that he hasn't had at 75 long. That was also our first LS Khim fight and maybe that Nether Blast is the reason Haute dropped

Once again...not questioning the rest of the gear. It's the fact of upgrading AF+1 Hands, which is the WORST of the 5 pieces to upgrade before anything else. It's not like you are forced into like Relic upgrades. This is a choice they made and it was stupid. To pick AF+1 hands over....well....any of them (especially the feet) is very much a confused and WTF. That is a waste of 20 coins and a AF upgrade set. 200k for -1 BP timer, +4 MP, and a loss of 4 VIT? And a "converts damage to MP" that even SE has admit is broken and doesn't work?

While stunning in that gear would be ass retarded, meleeing in it isn't a big deal. The reasoning behind it is you don't want to feed Cerb too much TP. Plenty of people do this on Cerb/Khim/Fafhogg. THFs do it all the time just to SA/TA and hope they don't get a couple Triple Attacks off. Learn why people do things before you post it.

If you had gotten a pic of him stunning in that, then you could have posted it. This thread is quickly failing.
