If my job can equip a ranged weapon I will bring it always to xp, moreso if I'm the party leader. Plus lol at missing an invite

Couse, Battle Bow (no arrows), AF head, Royal Guard's Collar, Beetle Earring Reraise Earring, BEAK JERKIN, AF hands, Empress Band, Ronin Ring, Raptor Mantle, Life Belt, SCORPION SUBLIGAR, AF feet.

Never once used Meditate, Hasso, or Third Eye. Was voke-pulling, said arrows were too expensive. She didn't have a GK with her, said the next availible one was level 62, so polearm was best. Also didn't have Penta Thrust, only used Double Thrust.

The rest of the party was just as bad, DRK in full AF spamming absorbs on Colibri, BLM that once he realized that he couldn't cast on them began to melee, and a WHM who was only hasting me (Puppetmaster).
Praise Jebus for Daze, it was the only real source of damage in this party, and after three Colibri I completely went afk until they kicked me from the party.

Moral of the story: When a SAM blind invites a PUP, things go horribly wrong.

To me, a DD that refuses to get a Xbow/Bow (especially when asked) in order to keep their Bomb Core is pretty gimp in itself.

Always fun being in a pt with WARs and DRKs who are "BOMB CORE ONRY!!". I own a Bomb Core and have WAR/DRK leveled, but I sure as hell bring an Xbow when I exp on DRK. And Trollbane when I merit on WAR.

At what point in that chat lot is someone asking me to get a ranged item ? the person asks if i have it. I respond with no and the party leader dismisses me, This is ~5minutes after the actual invite. If he had said that some kind of ranged item would be needed at the start then yes i would have bought one.

so i missed 20min of xp with a samurai that looks for a puller and neglects to make use of the ranged slot, ohh noes.

Edit~ I guess i lost out on 0xp because i passed the sam otw to the runic portal.

Had the feet on full-time. I can only assume they just forgot the unequip the Emp Band, since their party only started 10min before I took the screenshot, but if not..

The rest seemed ok for a SAM, but I can't comment on it since I don't have SAM leveled myself.

Edit, ok wow, worse than I thought. I logged back onto my main to double check to see if that was a Phantom Tathlum and found:

I guess when he asked if you had an RA, you assumed he wanted you to TP with your xbow? So yeah, I totally wouldn't do that. Wouldn't assume he was asking you to pull, nope. You really should have told him that your Scythe/Gsword would get TP faster.

Yeah i pted with her once as my pup when i was like 57-58 and her gear didn'T change.

She is a france french player and dosn't speak english. One time the PLD and RDM went AFK and she still pulled because AFK is english and the french version is Je reviens (brb). She still pulled and went emo that she died :D.

I remember the pt had SAM SAM PUP RDM BRD PLD, first sam parsed 30 me and the pet did about 25 each and the rest was her and PLD lol
