The ls was started by someone who plays and bots with 6 characters. I think that now he has enough speed belts and NQ behemoths he decided to make an LS so that he can actually kill HQs. So basically he had to fish up some noobs who have gear similarly crappy to this samurai's to fill his ls.

Context: during a merit party we were discussing which gear to use on WS, in particular Smilodon Mantle +1 vs Amemet Mantle +1.

When I was arguing the Amemet Mantle+1 was generally better, even for WS, due to the attack on it, this is the response I got;

I'm confused. Who's the gimp one? The Excalibur PLD or the NIN that misses four times in a row?

Missing four attacks in a row against a L8 Besieged mob with no food and double weakness (you can see the icon if you look closely) isn't really much of a reason to call someone a gimp. Particularly considering that I have full katana merits and decent DD gear, which means that there really wasn't much I could've done (short of eating acc food or popping Besieged meds) to raise my acc. On the other hand, TPing in an Aqua Ring on PLD is pretty lol. I'll say the Excalibur PLD. Take your shitty attempt at drama and get the fuck out.

The Wastrel is BLM and one of the lowest level mobs available in Besieged (the fact that it's level 8 makes no difference), you can see a weakness sign, but double weakness shows no visual change in the icon. Furthermore, aside from my own experience (in that I don't fight in besieged while weakened because of random hate and AoE ja's/magic) both BG's wiki and ffxiclopedia's wiki do not mention anything about weakness nor double weakness having any effect on melee accuracy. HP, MP, speed/recast, and double weakness affects ranged accuracy and magic attack bonus. It was a shitty attempt at humor, maybe, but not at drama, mostly in the face of the lolsy PLD.

Definitely not useless, but you can probably hit 300 Shield skill without swapping AF(+1) in, hence not blinking which might be what he meant? But I don't know personally, just a guess lol.

Well I don't have an Aegis so I can't say for sure that it is or not I tend to go by whatever other Aegis users say. Last I checked you (Max) don't have an Aegis either (not a bash or anything). Anyways this is all null and void since we don't PLD/WAR anything anymore anyways (that's a lot of anys), and he uses Homam feet for /NIN.

Aegis procs plenty more with almost no shield skill gear (except AF+1 feet and merits) vs. Koenig shield with shield gear other than M.head and Knight/Buckler earring (Shield Torque, Boxers, AF+1 Feet, merits) from what I've seen tanking with him. Does that mean shield skill doesn't help Aegis? Nope. But he's far from confused, and far from being a moron.

Edit: Of course this is without any solid evidence since I don't use parser, just throwing that out there for the whole "parse or it's false" people.
