Hurts my balls a bit... its his(?) only 75 and he is mega gimp (rainbow cape/errant leg/NQ staffs too iirc) and has Morrigans Body/Feet/RDM chapopo~;;

Errant NQ and Rainbow NQ are only a 2 stat loss and huge (comparitively) savings.

Agreed, I really don't care if someone doesn't have HQ of those since you lose a whopping 1 of each stat zoinks!

LOL You're stupid. RDM gets great use out of morrigan. Dalmy has been on mannequin for a while now.

and how much does int/mnd affect one's ability to haste/refresh? none.
how much does it affect one's ability to cure? very marginally
how much does lacking 2 mnd affect one's slow2? a bit, but not enough to be called gimp.
are there some less than spectacular choices? sure.
are there some places he could improve his gear for a very small cost? sure.
is he a hopeless gimp like someone TPing in str rings or a martial axe wielding war? not marginally.

the thing to remember is that a mage is far more defined by his performance than gear in contrast to a melee's "point at mob, afk till tp, repeat." while a naked melee is severely handicapped, a mage in salvage is a force with nothing more than magic. while you won't hear me say that gear can make a mage, if you had an experienced mage with good gear and an inexperienced mage with poor gear trade chars, the experienced mage would still outperform the inexperienced in most things outside of raw nuking numbers.

and as an aside, yeah. goliard clogs have myriad uses. resting, minmaxing int for ele enfeebles, landing songs, they're quite a swiss army knife. wuv my cloggehs.

Magic Accuracy+5, not 10. I did attempt to find a body piece that would be better then +5Magic Accuracy for Stun, and since its Dark Magic... i couldn't /sigh. Onlything RDM gets in Dark Magic Skill on the body slot is Glamor Jupon, and thats only +3, which according to current knowledge is only +3Magic Accuracy.
So Yah, If your worried about Stun getting resisted, Chasuble is the way to go :O

Assault breastplate is all he wears because apparently he thinks theres some hidden effect of +enmity on it? idk And jelly ring on Aspid. Been standing here watching them fight for 35 min now.

I was also using Wise Feet for INT build pre ToAU/Duelist's Boots, etc.
I believe it was the best +INT option for feet back then.

Duelist's vs. Goliard is somewhat situational. For HNM I use Goliard (or anything that's damn high level), otherwise if I feel comfortable with my nuking accuracy, I just use Duelists for the MAB.

So, little back story behind this as its a semi-cross post from alla pics thread.

I was idling in whitegate hoping to see something interesting to do and Mageoholic (rdmdontdie for those of you who will know) and his bro come up and start talking shit to me. It lasted for about an hour and fifteen minutes, it was great. I didn't get any SS of the conversation because it was filtered out by whitegate shout (Mid way through my "conversation" a friend came over and told me that my ex was pregnant ((not mine)) and by the time I got done laughing about it most of the best bits were gone).

Anyways, I was making fun about how he always talks about rdm af and wise gear as good gear, and he doesn't need anything better because he doesn't have any problems meleeing and enfeebling with his set up. Then his brother chimes up and goes "Oh yeah? Pssst, He's got crimson". So then mageo got in his RDM gear to show off for me. Yes I know its in town, but this is the gear he got into, to prove to me he wasn't gimp.
