Ya the fact that Bryan Lee Cranston is the lead really makes the show in my opinion

    Re: Breaking Bad

Thoughts about the show... over the first 3 episodes, the more I watch, the more I realize I particularly enjoy the intense desperation involved in some of the decision-making scenarios in this show, namely Walter's. It's like you can't really ever blame him for any of his decisions, knowing his situation and subsequent struggles in life. I guess it's off to a good start for a show; though, I'm not sure how long it can last with some very apparent timeline limitations for the story. But nonetheless, this show interests me.

For example, to back up the praise of Episode 3.. The way the scene where Walter just began to feel better about the prospect of letting Domingo go after that long dialogue with him, only to immediately have his hopes crushed by deceit and lies (certainly thanks to Walter's uncunny ability to think of everything) and the scene of the actual struggle between Walter and Domingo were done really well, given their disturbing predicaments.
