What probably happened was the old lady was confused what was going on. I've gone through the drive-thru and had them ask me to park in 1 of the spaces and someone woud bring the food out because they were crowded. They probably told her that and she thought they meant stay there. Then she didn't move, cops were called, hilarity ensued.

According to the video on the page, she was parked in a parking spot, not sitting in the drive through line.

There's no way that cops were called and arrived before a McD's employee could cough up the fries and coffee - something else happened there.

Cops can get there pretty fast, depending on where it's at. Imagine if it took cops 10 minutes to get anywhere, and there's a bank robbery or school shooting in progress. It probably only took them like 1 or 2 minutes tops to get a squad car or two out there. That's what they have sirens and lights for. Unless they kept them off and parked a block away so as not to spook the woman before they could apprehend her.

You even doubt it? I don't think we got set up, I know we got set up! I mean really, seriously, where did all those cops come from, huh? One minute they're not there, the next minute they're there. I didn't hear any sirens. The alarm went off, okay. Okay, when an alarm goes off, you got an average of four minutes response time. Unless a patrol car is cruising that street, at that particular moment, you got four minutes before they can realistically respond. In one minute there were seventeen blue boys out there. All loaded for bear, all knowing exactly what the fuck they were doing, and they were all just there! Remember that second wave that showed up in the cars? Those were the ones responding to the alarm. but those other motherfuckers were already there, they were waiting for us.

Yeah, I'd have to wonder about why police would be called too. If it was a misunderstanding, so the drive through loses a minute or something as they have an employee walk out there with her order, whoop dee doo. Not worth calling the cops on. Of course, if they were in line behind her, with a Class A Big Mac Attack...maybe that woulda done it.

Could be she spaced or something and was there for a while. That might have prompted a police call.

The cop who happened to be in the parking lot watching her do it, asked her to move, and she refused.
He asked to see ID and vehicle registration, she refused. (out here thats a crime, and a heavy fine. more than enough reason to arrest someone)
He arrested her for obstruction.
She realized that she was just parked wrong and he wasnt accusing her of anything serious.
She cooperated, and was released.

Got off easy imo. Instant $70+ fine for failing to show ID. $100+ for not presenting vehicle registration upon request.
