With all the good camps out there in ToAU, can someone please tell me why every god damned time I get a smoking double brd party at bird camp, 30 min into the party at least one other party comes and camps ontop of us.

Can people not fucking read comments?

Can people not fucking see a party there?

Are people REALLY so fucking lazy that they would rather screw another party out of their good camp just to make marginal xp compared to just Portalling out to another good camp?

Is the fucking search function broken?

And finally, what the hell can I do to get back at these people besides make tiny vodoo dolls and curse their names aloud?

Ya thats what Im saying, they were all from differernt LSs I think, so they are all to blame. To me thats the lowest thing you can do in game. Your not fucking someone over for some dream item, your literally ruining someone's night over some xp.. What the fuck is wrong with people.

I ask myself constantly. I'm always putting together a dual BRD merit PT with friends. It's disappointing to find ourselves getting camped on top of at Nyzul Isle 30 minutes to an hour after starting. What I do is keep a list of the PT leaders guilty of moving their camp on top of mine. Whenever I'm making a merit PT, I'll make sure not to invite anyone on that list.

Is it really so hard to /sea and check PT leader's comments before moving your PT to a camp?
Is it really so hard to scout an open camp before moving your PT to a camp?

I do both of these every single time I put together a merit PT and always make sure to put up a /seacom when an open camp is found. Camping on top of another PT is just rude.

They werent gimp for pulling, 2 brds in haste gear, so they got about as much or slightly less than us, but thats beside the point.

I like alot of other camps too, but I do enjoy the smoothness of bird camp and just get sick and tired of assholes content with 10k or less an hour camping ontop of us. I wish SE would add another feature besides /blist, perhaps /skullrape or something and would properly reward the fucktards whom are dedicated to ruining the game.

Well honestly with a BRDx2 pt, bird camp is prob the best choice imo. All my highest exp/hr rates have been fighting the birds with brdx2. A lot of people know this as well, so yeah, for a grade A TP burn pt, their first choice is naturally to go to bird camps. ANd in most cases until about 4 pts are there, they will keep swarming in. My advise for bird camp is, if ur gonna exp there, make sure you got a pt capable of kicking some serious ass and brds capable of outpulling numerous people. PTs will come, they will try to ruin ur exp, and unless you can make their effort in vain, you will be fucked, lol.

I normally start by asking nicely for them to leave or a "Please don't camp here, this only supports one group." Some groups are entirely new people and don't know, others are just being dicks. Normally after that I apply the "Please gtfo, we've been here for a while now." After that just start Diaing their shit and having everyone pull what they see and sleep it. Sometimes it fails, sometimes you wipe a group w/ 4 birds and make chain 20 of their lulz.

FWIW, 2bards at Mamools isn't bad either. As long as your group is somewhat skilled and geared decently you can tear through Mamools at 25-30k/hr easily.

Ok well there is other camp, why are you choosing colibri when you know it's one of the most used camp ?

There's some imp camp that is nearly always free and you dont have a single competition, also with dual bard, you could exp on other stuff I'm pretty sure. Why people can't understand that some people dont care to camp on others etc.. It will remain like that even if you come and rant in all FF11 forum. Just use camp that are less used when you have 2 brd in pt and if you dont want to have someone camp over you.

Yea, fucking hate the bird camp due to the reason of asshole parties camping on top of my, 95% of the time, better party. It being Remora and all, assholes are dime a dozen, even if they suck they'll still stick around and it really does piss me off. I actually like the mamool camp over any other, be it Nyzul or Mamool staging point, not only is it usually better xp, but it's always free and hardly ever taken.

I do like how easy the bird camp is however, and it's much more smoother and easier than mamools.

Even if they can kill a few birds it can ruin your chain if you get unlucky.
It's always nice to see a party with no bard, two paladins, and some odd retarded setup come and camp right on top of you, blazing at 5k/hr, but is still able to ruin your chain because they have three birds claimed and slept.

I like runing pts out of their camps. It makes the pt interesting, Watching other players get mad cause a single bard can out pull a whole pt. I needs my exps too..

...Semi-related, has anyone tried meriting or manaburning on the camp of VT Gnats in SE Mountains_S? I guess I'm tad intimidated to see high eva on them with an A+ capped weapon and merits.

...For that matter, merit off the Wyverns in NW Grauberg? ...Mire-style PT on the T pixies in NW Grauberg? ...ANY exp location for 50+es (60? 70?) in WotG? CoP areas are either too low, horrid mobs, or high-lvl mostly, and ToAU is all 60+... I was hoping SE would actually plan out some zones of all lvl ranges for once. I'll just hope Oz_S ends up full of lvl80+ Yagudo to merit on, rawr.
