Exactly, its called common decency. Neither party gets good xp, so there has to be a decision somewhere in the dumbass party's head of "hmm, we could stay here and get shitty xp fighting for mobs and continue to fuck over this party whom we just came and camped ontop of, or we could move and get 3 times as much".

Seriously though, what goes through someone's head when they pull shit like this. This is why I advocate the removal of all warning labels on all dangerous products, lets get some more darwin awards and forgoe the pain these people cause through their own selfishness/ignorance.

That AoE massive attack down Wivres do gets really fucking annoying after a while, which is why I prefer not to mess with them(at least in pickup group, but then again most LS pts don't touch them either).

I miss old area exp. I had some of my most awesome meritpts in the Range. Lufaise can be pretty awesome too. But nobody wants to go there. >.< Everyone grew a perma-boner over ToAU.

Problem is, there's a reason for that perma-boner. All of our usual camps were taken last night, so instead of camping on top of someone else, my static went to Bibiki Bay. Oh my god, the pain. Amazingly slow repops, mobs spread out too far (kept losing the chain), sushi wearing in 30 minutes!!, no XP bonus (Candysense is level 8 now, so the XP would have rocked in ToAU areas). Not to mention, memories of years ago when 547357471075109 parties camped on top of each other there...

Your other points are all valid, but fast repop times are not ToAU-exclusive. It's 5 minutes in a field, 16 minutes in a dungeon no matter what continent you're on.

There are only X amount of camps in the game, and even you won't go to most, so basically X-Y = Z camps. I would not be surprised if there are Z+(insert integer here) parties at any given time.

If you want an OMG camp, and it's one that everyone else knows? you're screwed. QQ moar.

I would say only about a 1/3d of my pickup or LS parties can include wivres into the mix to keep chains, as their attack down moves and generally higher HP tend to kill their effectiveness for saving the chain. Now that ofcourse depends on the type of melees I have in the party, but I dont party with 3 amano sams every time I go there. My "typical" birds party is double brd, rdm, nin, 2 well geared LS melees, which is enough to clear the area of colibri and occasionally have to pull a bird from up top to keep chain. Gets about 25k an hour, and never really have to fight wivres. Now if one or two of the melee are on the more serious side, ya we absolutely have to include the wivres just because everything dies in 10 seconds. Either way, 2/3s of the time wivres just suck for chains, as well as are annoying.

Btw we did drive the party out after about 30 min of them spread completely out trying to claim everything as it popped. When they first got there, there wasnt a bird up as we were already fighting the pop timers to keep chains, and after asking how long we were going to be, they decided to attempt to push us out. They failed, but they did succeed in fucking our xp up for the remainder of the night.

I've noticed unless you know the Cor is a good cor that usually in a PUG the cor is going to be shitty, and try and pull that I can only have one roll up on melee and backline at a time BS. Also Cors in PUGs are worse then some Brds and rdms when it comes to the tude. Cors in PUGs are quick to say f this and leave when you tell em to cast at least 3 rolls, a melee roll exp roll and evokers for the healer. Thats not even to mention that cors can do 2 and 2 rolls like brds can do 2 and 2 songs.

I have never heard or seen a cor that can do only 2 rolls at a time, and I am sad if that's what happens for you.

But yeah I prefer cor/brd to brd/brd myself... very biased though because I'm a cor.

Yeah really, 1k slugs are easy to get once you have chaos roll up on colibris and not a completely retarded ws setup.
And with a joytoy and a minimum amount of acc and haste in tp gear (and possibly sam roll) you can get them off pretty fast.
Add to that a substantial spamming of earth shots (for the lulz) and you become a worthwhile addition to a party.

Not really true... COR-main rolls are generally more potent than BRD songs so a COR mimicking a BRD would still be better than a BRD/COR assuming they can keep up 4 rolls. /COR doesn't get the bonuses for having a roll's job in the party and the rolls are half-potency, e.g. with Chaos Roll on an 11 DRK + COR is +41% attack, COR only is +31%, and /COR is +15.5%. I won't list being able to have only a single roll up as an issue since the BRD would have songs as well.

That aside, the COR really should be doing more than just rolls since there's the ~50 seconds between rolls/double ups where they'd have nothing else to do. Throw out a Quick Draw, fire off a few rounds, auto attacks, and WSs, just don't be lazy.

Pretty sure he meant BRD+COR vs. BRD+BRD but the point that rolls are just as potent is still valid. I completely agree too, of course then you also have the COR's that come to HNM's as COR/RNG.

I love COR/RNG on birds, of course it's nothing compared to a RNG main on birds but you can still push out 1-1.5k+ slugs with minuet and chaos roll. I love it even more as THF.

I need some more COR friends though, wife is 75 brd, and have a few brd friends, but finding a 75 COR to merit on my server is like finding King Behe unclaimed and all alone at 1%.

Costs an arm and a leg keeping up in ammo, especially if you want to be firing off Steel ammo. 220K/12 pouches or so, ugh...at least iron costs about the same as silver (though it's inferior).

There was nobody there when we arrived, there was nobody there after we left. Doesn't seem overcrowded to me. Of course you may find something different if you NEED to exp Saturday at noon.

awsome place to merit/break latents with a semi allaince is mamools. while exp is not eye popping with 7-9 people in alliance you can easilly chain and get really nice exp per hour.

As far as mamools camp goes I actually prefer skoffins and mamools over mamools and puks because puks Fing annoy the hell out of me. Zeph mantle aoe knock back etc etc.

oh and if you want to see QQ take an alliance to mire or colis and let the /sh F u F u etc flow from every direction.

SE needs to fix qutrubs, i miss those little balls of epeen damage.

Give them some fucking special exp bonus (like many mobs like gnoles/manticores/phuabos), toss in some Lamia at the Dvucca Isle SP and that'd be a good camp to spread people the fuck out.

If you think an alliance @ Caedarva is bad, try a meleeburn on Flans, or a Roaming PT on Waumoracampas.

On a side note: Where the *hell* are the Lamia camps SE >.>
