Well for one, because he sang that extremely crappy song from the Curious George movie....and secondly, because he sounds like he's right out of some local community college radio station.

Don't get me wrong, I know that a lot of people like that type of music but not me, and thus the answer to how I can't like Jack Johnson.

I actually kind of like the Friday lineup (except the Jack Johnson headline). The National, Animal Collective, Fatboy Slim, Mum, Raconteurs are all shows I'd see.

and i know im going to get mauled for this, but death cab for cutie are fucking awful live. they used to tour with a friend of a friend's band named the dismemberment plan(who were amazing), and other than clever tour names like 'the death and dismemberment tour,' the dismemberment plan blew them off the stage every night. plus, yknow, less high school emo girls lol.

wow someone else besides me knows of the dismemberment plan... one of my all time favorite bands. and their drummer is fucking amazing, one of my brothers friends might be starting a band up with i believe the drummer from D-Plan, if i recall what he said right, was either the drummer or guitarist, anywho. too bad they broke up. oh and jack johnson owns.

first of all it's "ma'am", secondly I know both bands, b/c I promoted them when no one else knew who the hell they were. I'm not comparing.

Im a bit disappointed in the headliners this year, but most likely will be going Sat - Sun! (If I can find the justification to pay that much to go. Shits like $70ish per day.
